Another Idiot- All of you! Listen to me! I know someone that can solve this test!
He says this loudly, basically shouting in this case, easily getting the attention of everyone there, after all, he didn’t insult anyone and that alone was enough to grab their attention.
Rude Student- And who that might be? There is no one here that can solve it beside myself. What the hell are you talking about? Is your brain even working?
Another Idiot- Of course it’s working! Hey, just listen to me, I do know of someone who can solve this. It’s that girl over here! That one can solve the test! I mean, just look at her, why wouldn’t she?
And he points to Kiana, who seems to be lost in thought. Or was, as she faces towards him as she understands that he is talking about her. Why does this keep happening to her? I mean, I can see his point of view, in a way of course. Everyone here with the exception of Kiana is for the rich side and that alone makes Kiana stand up. Not really. For crying out loud, she’s right in the middle of all of them, didn’t say a single word, she’s shorter than them, making her “blend” with the crowd and yet, one of them still had the damn gall to target her.
“Ah, don’t worry about it, I actually can’t solve this nor I want to, to be honest. I just got curious about this spectacle but I will be leaving now.”
Her voice is soft but cold at the same time. Her eyes are gentle but they look down at this fool. She elegantly played around at his insults and made them seem that they had no effect on her. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, they quiet down and even shut up the moment she spoke back. As she leaves the area their eyes follow her small silhouette, their mouths wide open filled with shock as they didn’t expect this for someone like her, for someone that looks so fragile to be this direct and even confident. But then, a familiar voice is heard, quickly grabbing their attention towards it, even our Kiana stops and turns around to see who it is.
“What’s happening here? What’s all of this nonsense about?”
Merchant Teacher- Ah miss Roosevelt! I’m trying to recruit new students but I’m having a little bit of trouble with it... Would you mind helping me out? After all, you're the leader of this class... And you probably should act as such here and there. But that is just my plea for help and my two own cents, no need to take it seriously, Miss Roosevelt.
And everyone's mouths crash down into the ground with a loud “thump” sound to them. The moment he said that, Myra is part of his class and even the leader, this animalistic phenomenon happens. It seems Myra is well known around these parts and just the thought that they might or can impress her in this mere instance, it quickly makes them extremely overhyped, filled with excitement and happiness. All the bitter talk from before, the exchange of insults and so on, all of that disappears in seconds, so much so that they even form a single line to attempt to solve the puzzle. Seriously, there was no talk back, no “Buts!”, no “I am the first one!”, nothing at all. Just like some sheep, they form a single line and that’s it. Though it does seem Myra is a little annoyed at this and understandable so, these people sure are a bunch of idiots. Just as she was debating to tell the merchant to take in the rear per say, her eyes meet Kiana small figure in the distance.

“(Oh my, what a turn of events. That's the girl from yesterday, isn’t it? What was her name again- And she’s leaving… No, I can’t have that now, can I? I will have to get her attention somehow. You do seem to be quite interesting to say the least, not like this bunch of buffoons and idiots over here.)”
Even though someone with high status as Myra has just arrived, Kiana's interest remains the same, or in other words, she’s disinterested at all of this. Luckily for Myra, it seems Kiana is just walking towards a bench that is nearby, maybe she’s not that disinterested at all and just wants to see all of this from the backstage? Who knows, though this did create some type of “goal” for Myra to accomplish.
Myra- Since a single line has been formed, let’s start this then. But before any of you have a go at the test, let me add a little incentive to the ones that complete the test.
Merchant Teacher- Oh? And what do you mean by that Miss Roosevelt? What type of incentive are you talking about? Surely you jest, no?
Myra- Of course not sensei, I wouldn’t do such a thing before all of these potential candidates. The reward for the ones that pass this test is the opportunity to work under me. I’m quite the busy woman at the end of the day. I have far too much work in my hands and I sure would not mind having someone by my side that I trust helping me with it.
Merchant Teacher- (Good one miss Roosevelt! This way, even those who were unsure about whether they want to participate or not, now they will definitely want to give it a go! Haha! I knew I could count on you when I sent that letter! Nice one!)
Merchant Teacher- You heard her! Show us what you are all about and do your best! Each one of you will have 15 minutes to solve it, fail to do so in that time span and you are out! Give out the wrong answer and you are out! If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask, although I might not answer them, so be careful with that! Then, let’s begin!
As loud as he can he shouts, starting the competition with it. One by one, the students try their luck at this, giving out everything they have. They might be a bunch of idiots, but they aren’t dumb, the vast majority of them do seem to have knowledge about the merchant and the business world, I wouldn’t doubt if one of them could solve this rather quickly. However, Myra has no interest in them whatsoever, no, her “goal” for now is nowhere near her. This means that she needs to walk up to it, to walk up to Kiana who is sitting down on the bench that I mentioned before. Kiana has a distant look on her face, her hands are entangled with each other and both of her thumbs are bouncing upwards and down. She really has lost all of her interest in this, hasn’t she? Without saying a single word, Myra sits down next to her but for some reason she decides to sit down at the edge of the bench although Kiana is doing the same but on the opposite side, so, they are equal?
“Hello there Miss Kiana, how are you today? Sorry to bother you, but I saw you all by yourself so I decided to say hello. Aren’t you going to give the test a try? I saw you there earlier, what made you change your mind?”
