Teach.
i have very few memories of my life, but if i would summarize it then it would sound like this. I was born into a duke’s family to a third wife, it goes without saying that i wasn’t considered as an heir. But that didn’t bother me, to be honest i preferred fighting and moving around to partying with nobles and do desk jobs. This suited my family and my father used his connections to fast track me through the military. Don’t get me wrong i was talented and before i died i was considered to be a general, but it didn’t happen since i died in the imperial unification war. My country was opposing it and not to brag my men and I were instrumental in our success, although being called a devil by both friends and foes alike was a little sad. Anyway the empire sent one of their imperial mages to take us down, and that mage happened to be a lich that led an army of undead, oh but don’t get me wrong i was able to defeat him but it ended with a spell that corrupted the area turning all my men into undead together with me. Although i did retain some of my thoughts which led me to defend this from recurrent attacks, and after a while they stopped attacking and for many years i sat and waited for someone to defeat me. But that future didn’t happen.
one day someone that looked like a little girl came through the gate, although I could sense she was an undead, so at first I thought she simply had wandered inside but she seemed to move with purpose so I followed her.
When we reached the training ground I saw how she used a sword, and thought that’s terrible. She just swung the sword around relying solely on her stats and infinite endurance. Yeah I needed to solve this problem or my honor would be tainted, so I decided to have a practice match with her to show how bad she is.
it ended with my victory obviously. I mean yeah she used skills in an interesting way but it was to chaotic, especially at the end when she grabbed my arm. I mean i could have blocked her magic using her as a shield.
anyway i decided to remove a couple of limbs as punishment for being so reckless.
Afterwards I decided to drag her to my old office so she could cry alone, since my experience told me new recruits needed some alone time after training.
after I had thrown her, eh i mean gently putting her in my office so she could recover I went to find some new clothes for her. Obviously there was nothing in her size but I did have a subordinate that had the ranger job in life, which although not a crafting job had some affinity with sewing. So I had him use some old clothes we had as material to make new clothes.
after I had ordered new clothes to be made i went back to check on the girl. But instead of seeing a crying girl, I saw her reading a monster encyclopedia and not just that she seems to use magic to speed up the recovery process. I decided to respect her wishes, so I pulled out a grimoire for support magic, which in my opinion is the most valuable form of magic but she.
“Can’t I choose the magic I want to use myself” is what she said.
obviously i needed to discipline her so i gave her a light tap with my foot, which made her realize her wrongdoing and started studying what i gave her.
A couple of days later the clothes were ready so i went to the office to give them, and check up on her.
when i got there i noticed that she was completely recovered and had even studied some other grimoires, well as long as the things i gave her were learned I wouldn’t need to give a gentle scolding.

when i handed her the clothes she seemed suspicious but then started to change which was a little shameless for a girl. But then i noticed that the child was actually a boy. If my face wasn’t a skull i would had my eyes fall out of my sockets, anyway that’s not important he is fine so I’ll start his training so he can be a proper man.
This kid movements are way too relaxed, not just in his fighting style but in every day life. If I don’t fix this he’ll be ambushed all the time’s. But how should i teach him how to be vigilant, normally with new recruits sending them into the forest for survival training would be an option but i can’t really do that now. Wait didn’t my brother say something about teaching kids through play.
After i ordered my subordinates that had become skeleton knights to attack, eh catch him when they saw him walking around the castle. At first he was frustrated since he couldn’t win, but since he had the same expression as a new recruit i knew i did the right thing.
he wants to go out and level up. That’s not a bad idea I guess since his job skills is maxed out ranking up his job would make him stronger, but I’m worried about sending him out by himself like he asks since he have that bad habit of getting full of himself. Still though he has made great progress despite sometimes making ridiculous excuses like needing to rest. So I decided to let him go out during the night since I didn’t see what could go wrong.
he came back after sunrise because he picked a fight with the church, well that was probably the worst thing that could’ve happened, but considering the circumstances I guess I should let him off with a light scolding, anyway with the magic stones he has gathered it should be possible for him to rank up. Well i guess this is the end of his training, i wanted to train him for a couple of years but this will have to do. It’s time for my last battle.
Ones we arrived the kid seemed nervous and asked about siege equipment which we didn’t have. But to be honest I could take down this place by myself unfortunately that wouldn’t give him any war experience, so I had the small fry attack first.
this is not what I wanted he simply slaughtering the soldiers. Seriously couldn’t they put on a better fight so he could get better experience, now he’s just going to get full of himself. I have to do something, ah i could just have him fight the one that uses sanctuary that should work.
good he is actually struggling but if this continues he’ll wi,,,, what the hell is he experimenting in the middle of a fight I’ll crush, eh i mean give him a scolding later.
after he won his fight I gave him a scolding, and he felt so bad that if he could he would cry, but now it’s time for us to part ways, now that we attacked the fort the church will send champions to this place, which will mean that everyone here will die. Instead of being killed by them I’ll rather give some of my power to my apprentice.
after giving my magic stone to him with my last strength I asked him to live freely.
eh what’s going on why am i still here? Have i become a ghost, hm i cant check my status and i don’t seem to be able to leave the kid. Whatever I’ll just watch his adventures.
