there was only one being — the Supreme Immortal.
No one knows where the Immortal came from.
No one knows why the Immortal decided to create.
One day, with a single thought,
the Supreme Immortal formed the First Gods
and said only this:
“Take care of the world I will make.”
Then the mortal world was created —
full of oceans, mountains, forests, and new life.
The gods went down to help.
They taught early humans how to grow food.
They taught traders how to be fair.
They taught leaders how to rule with courage.
For a while, gods and mortals lived together peacefully.
But the gods did not all agree about humanity.

Some wanted to guide people and help them grow.
Some wanted to rule over them like masters.
And a few thought humans were a mistake that should be erased.
Arguments turned into anger.
Anger turned into battles.
And soon the heavens were torn apart by the first Divine War.
When the fighting finally ended,
the Supreme Immortal appeared once more.
With one command, a great barrier — the Veil —
was placed between gods and humans.
From that day on:
-
No god could enter the mortal world.
-
No miracle could be given directly.
-
Only blessings from afar… and judgment after death.
And so humanity was left on its own.
For the first time, people had to live, build, and survive
without divine hands to guide them.
They made kingdoms.
They fought wars.
They created new knowledge.
They shaped the world by themselves — imperfect, but determined.
Some people still prayed out of habit.
Some prayed out of fear.
Most simply lived their lives, believing the age of gods was over.
But every prayer still rises into the sky.
Every soul still walks the same silent path after death.
And even now, the story of mortals continues…
a story that began long before they were born.
