[Announcement] Indefinite Hiatus - The Formosa Archives is Officially Shelved

  Hello everyone,

This is an official announcement. The story of The Formosa Archives is coming to a close here for now.

I'm not going to give you any sugarcoated excuses. The real, core reason for dropping this book is simple: I've written myself into a dead end, and as the "first reader" of this story, even I can't force myself to read it anymore.

In the beginning, I put a lot of effort into building the oppressive atmosphere and the hardcore micro-tactics of extreme survival. But as the story progressed, the pacing and direction completely slipped out of my control. Sitting in front of the screen every day, I lost that initial thrill of plotting out tactics. Instead, the narrative just felt increasingly dry and lifeless.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

When an author finds their own writing dull or even frustrating to read, I know that forcing out word counts just to keep up with updates will only produce garbage that I'd be ashamed of. That would be a massive disrespect to the story itself, and to all of you who took the time to click on this book.

So, I'm choosing to cut my losses here and put this story on the shelf.

I don't have any flowery words of gratitude. I just want to offer my most sincere thanks to every reader who clicked on this book and silently accompanied the protagonist through those ruined wastelands. Thank you for giving this story a chance.

This writing journey has taught me a lot and shown me exactly where my current limits lie. I'm going to absorb this failure as pure EXP and take some time to clear my head. Hopefully, when I launch my next book, I can bring you a story that makes even me go, "Damn, this is a fun read."

Wishing you all the best. See you in the next one.
