I have done many things in the span of time I have been aware. This includes getting my chest ripped open and growing flowers. But, if I may say, being examined by tech priests, cursed at by actual priests, poked by bureaucrats, and talked down to by everyone, I am just about through with this.
I am rather displeased. I honestly just want to leave for the Shrike, and wander the lower decks for a while. This is trying. The only thing keeping me from snapping somethings neck, is Anibeli.
She is the ONE THING keeping the idiots and incompetents lives from being snuffed out like one of their candles.
But, it's almost over. A week more, and then I can fuck off back to the ship. Just a week. Dead gods I hate this place.

"Nez... don't think about it." Anibeli asks, almost pleasingly.
"Oh?" I state flatly.
"Look, when we get back to the ship, you can take it off. And look, I already got rid of the other papers!" She smiled.
"How joyous, dear Anibeli. How very joyous."
I was forced. To wear. FUCKING WAX SEALS AND PAPER. ON MY BODY! I was a little FUCKING ANGRY, but we were done, and leaving. My patience was at its end, and we needed to go.
Thankfully, we were close to our shuttle, so it wouldn't be too long now. The indignity to my person, the insult to my being! They dared?! These primitive apes-!
I pause, and slowly force myself to calm down properly. Things were going to return to normal iminantly, and holding a useless grudge is worthless.
"When we return, I will head to the lower decks." I state. I was still upset. This body... it's the closest thing that is me/mine. I have nothing else. No true soul, no living body, only this shell, and it's guttering emotions. My memories were broken... the only thing whole, is this shell of mine.
"I simply need a bit to myself, dear Ani. I am not mad at you. Think of me as simply being... tired." I say. I slowly grab her hand and rub my thumb across the back of her hand.
She smiles, and patts me on the shoulder. "I know, Nez." She says. "I know."
