Amelia was confused while Tayna frowned, "Leandra... That sneaky bitch!"
"Tayna!? Language!" Amelia gasped, looking at her.
"Sorry, but she was the one stealing from the Ladies of the Court—" Tayna paused as her frown turned into a smirk. "We can use this against her."
"B-But what if these were gifts?" Amelia asked.
Tayna lifted out the top tray to reveal another yer of stolen jewelry. And this time there was a beautiful neckce with House Dule's emblem on it. It was Amelia's mother's neckce that has been missing for over five years. Amelia always loved this piece and thought she was the one who lost it after wearing it for fun, back when she was a teenager.
Tayna noticed Amelia's eyes were locked on the neckce and gave a small smile, "Are you sure these were gifts?"
"Oh..." Amelia's cheeks turned pink. "So Leandra has been stealing our family's jewelry?"
"Looks like it, we can return these to the Ladies of the Court and make her to confess. She's a viral who uses everyone's kindness against them. It's time someone teaches her a lesson." Tayna smiled.
Amelia took her mother's neckce and held it in the air. Her face harden a bit as her hands clenched. 'It wasn't my fault... It never was my fault. Why do I keep worrying about Princess Rya when it's Leandra who's always been the problem?! Rya's healed Tayna, my brother, and me... Leandra only wants corner us until we give in to her. Well not this time!'
"Amelia? You okay?" Tayna asked.
"Let's go, we have work to do." Amelia said, putting on the neckce around her neck. She looked at herself in the mirror and took in her reflection. With everything that has happened to her after Rya healed her. She no longer looked like the same scared mb she used to be. Now, she saw herself as the apex predator she was meant to be. A nobleman from a Major House that must be respected by everyone, not just the minor houses. She was finally appreciating her new curves and loved how her family's emblem nestled between her breasts.
"Well, should we use Leandra's nicer hairclips? Or are we going with the more elegant ones?" Tayna asked.
Amelia's cheeks were bright red when she heard Tayna say that. "Yes... This dress and some of her finer jewelry can be part of her recompense for stealing from House Dule."
Tayna smirked, "I couldn't have said it better myself. It's time for House Dule to be respected once more," she added while looking at herself in the mirror as well.
"Hm. I think you will be a good Baroness, Tayna. My brother is lucky to have you," Amelia said as she smiled at her best friend.
Tayna blushed and shook her head, "Well, the fates and the Goddesses have been kind to me. I was lucky enough not to screw it up. Now, let's find some of the Duchess's jewelry that would look nice on you."
Amelia nodded as they opened up all the drawers on the vanity until they found Leandra's jewelry box. Amelia pulled out some of the finer looking pieces and set them aside.
***
After about ten minutes, they had a nice selection of earrings, bracelets, and a few neckces. Tayna put on one of the nicer neckces that had a ptinum chain with a blue diamond at the end.
Amelia's eyes widened at the sight of it, "Is this a sapphire?"
Tayna examined the stone closely, "No, I believe it is a blue diamond. Not many nobles have one of these."
Amelia couldn't help but grin, "I'm sure Leandra is going to hate you wearing it."
"Hm. She'll probably be just as mad with you wearing that golden bracelet."
They both gnced at each other before bursting out ughing. Amelia finally felt a connection with her sister in w for the first time in her life. Even though she's done some of the most embarrassing things in her life. Amelia has learned to accept who she is and move on. It was like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. But to bad that it seemed to have moved to her chest, which wasn't feeling as much pleasure from them enchanted dress as her bosoms were getting full of milk.
"Hm?" Amelia looked down at herself and wondered if the enchantment finally stopped. She couldn't tell and even after lifting up her breast and examining it. She still wasn't sure.
Tayna giggled as she watched Amelia examine herself, "You seem to be having fun. I bet that you're going to get some action with your crush ter."
Amelia sighed and stood up, "I just hope these things will stop growing. I swear I'm almost as big as the Queen," she whined a little while straightening herself up.
"Well, I don't think you're growing, Amelia. But it's a maternity dress, so it's probably making you ctate. Which is weird, because I've never heard of enchanted clothing that can make a human woman ctate without giving birth first," Tayna wondered as she poked the side of Amelia's breasts.
"Hey!? Stop that!" Amelia turned away from Tayna while covering herself, "I assure you that it must be due to the mana flowing through my body. The dress might be trying to make my bosoms generate milk but it's not. Only alchemists' potions can make non-mothers ctate. So there's no way that the dress can do it."
Tayna shook her head, "I don't know. I wouldn't have believed that an artifact could see who has what type of Mana Vein someone has until I met Rya. Maybe this dress can make ever woman ctate. Or..." she smirked at the thought that came into her mind.
"Or?" Amelia asked nervously.
"I'm not sure. I would have to test the dress on a few more women, but maybe there are women who don't need to get pregnant to start ctating. Perhaps you are one of those rare women who can ctate without getting pregnant," Tayna smiled as she poked the side of Amelia's right breast again.
Amelia spped her hand away, "Stop that! They're are sensitive. It's probably because of my growth spurt. And! If I was ctating, then why isn't my dress getting wet? Huh?!" She turned around to face Tayna.
Tayna shrugged her shoulders, "There might be an additional enchantment that prevents a woman from leaking. I know those types of maternity clothing exists, so maybe if we lift up those fps that are covering your nipples will stop that enchantment and you'll start leaking."
"Oh, no you don't! I'm not about to let you py with my breasts just to tease me! And why do you know so much about maternity clothing all of a sudden?" Amelia backed away from Tayna.
Tayna chuckled at Amelia before shaking her head and grabbing the box full of stolen jewelry. "Because I'm trying to get pregnant, Amelia. And I've been looking into pregnancy clothes and I've stumbled across maternity clothing as well. And a lot of them have a lot of different enchantments to help expecting mothers." Tayna turned towards her sister in w, "There's a lot of new improvements and I'm gd to see that some of these enchanters are looking out for the welfare of mothers and babies."
Amelia sighed, "Sorry, I forgot... So, I'm going to be an Auntie soon, huh?... Oh! What names do you have in mind for your baby?"
Tayna chuckled, "You're just going to have to wait and find out, Lia. Now, let's go ruin the Duchess's day."
Amelia nodded as she followed her sister-in-w out of the bedroom and carefully looked down the hallway to see if any servants were walking about. But to their surprise, the hallway was silent.
"Huh... You would think that someone would have made a round or two by now. How long have we been in Leandra's room?" Amelia asked her sister-in-w.
Tayna shook her head, "We've been here for almost an hour..." She whispered while observing the hallway for any movement.
"That long? A servant or a guard should have walked by once. Do you think they are just walking the halls and ignoring the rooms? " Amelia whispered.
Tayna shrugged, "Beats me. It's a possibility that they are so focused on Rya and the Queen that A majority of the staff is surrounding the ballroom. So it would make sense why we haven't heard or seen anyone in the st hour. Either way, we should use this opportunity to our advantage and make our way out of here. Just be quiet and move slowly."
The two women moved quietly and carefully through the corridors and passageways of the living quarters of the Manor.
Amelia frowned as she noticed strange shadows coming from underneath from two different doors of guest bedroom that were about 25 feet in front of them. It was like multiple lights were rotating around someone, but the shadows That kept creeping out from underneath these two rooms moved irregurly. It was hard to expin, but it seemed like multiple shadows were coming from one person but they were moving completely different from the others as if they were all independent from each other. On top of that, Amelia could tell that there were six different sets of these shadows. She looked around the rest of the hallway to see if other shadows were doing the same thing but she found none. Another thing to was that Tayna didn't seem to notice the shadows coming from these two doors.
Amelia decided to keep an eye on these two rooms because something about them gave her a bad feeling.
"Hey, Tayna. Do you notice anything off about the hallway?" Amelia asked her Sister-In-Law.
Tayna stopped and looked around, but she didn't see anything out of the ordinary. She shook her head and said, "No. Everything seems fine. Why?"
"Oh? Um. You don't see any strange shadows, right?"
Tayna looked around the hallway once more trying to see any strange shadows, but she couldn't see anything.
"No, Amelia. There aren't any strange shadows." Tayna replied.
"Hm... Maybe it's just my imagination then." Amelia muttered to herself. 'Am I going insane? No, maybe I'm hallucinating. Y-Yeah, I'm just seeing things. It's probably some side effects from that stupid Mana Lust. Yeah. It's nothing to be afraid of.' Amelia told herself before taking a deep breath.
The two women continued to walk down the hallway. As they got closer to the first door the Three sets of different shadows continued to move around in an unnatural manner. One set was from a well-dressed man, and the other two seemed like they were from guards. The well dressed man's shadows were acting like three different personalities. One was ughing, while another looked frightened, and the third was angry. The shadow guards were simir, but were different personalities from the well-dressed man. One guard was crying, another looked frightened, and the third was lethargic.
'It's just my imagination. There's nothing to worry about.' Amelia tried to reassure herself.
Then as they walked past the first door. The three sets of shadows stopped acting like they we're doing charades and looked like they were staring at Tayna and her.
'This is creepy. I hope they go away.' Amelia thought she she did her best to ignore the first set of eerie shadows. And just as the two girls made it past the first door Amelia's shadow shot out multiple shadow tendrils that ensnared the three sets of shadows and squeezed them together into a single shadow of each person. They looked like they were tied up and desperately trying to escape these tendrils.
It didn't take long before they finally stopped moving.
"Mmmh!?"
Tayna and Amelia stopped and looked back at the closed door to one of the guest bedrooms. They thought they heard the muffled moans of a man.
"Did you hear that?" Tayna whispered.
"I heard something, but I don't know what it—huh?" Amelia paused when she saw her shadow intersecting the other three shadows in a surreal scene. The man's shadow was still tied up in her shadow's tendrils. The guard's shadow had his arms tied behind his back, his face buried in the floor, and the well dressed man was on his knees looking at her.
"Is something wrong, Amelia?"
Amelia turned her head to look at Tayna, "N-No. I-I just thought I saw a gross bug. Coming from underneath that door. D-Did you see it?" Amelia lied to see if Tayna saw the weird shadows.
Tayna focused her gaze on the door, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She was about to turn around until she noticed something that wasn't normal about Amelia's shadow. Everything seemed normal about it except for these things that seemed to be stretching out of it a bit towards the door in question. It looked like three triangur fg shadows that were attracted to her shadow and they faded in and out like a mirage.
'It's probably the sun light bouncing off of the windows or the chandeliers above us. Making my imagination run wild. Right?'
Tayna shook her head, "I didn't see anything."
"O-Oh. Well that's good."
"Let's keep going."
The two girls turned back and continued down the hallway again and Amelia saw the next door that had the set of moving shadows.
'Goddesses! I just want them to stop to! This is creeping me out!' Amelia thought and as if by command, more shadow tendrils sprouted out from her shadow and wrapped themselves around the dancing shoes and repeated the same thing they did st time.
Amelia and Tayna both heard the muffled voices and moaning coming from the door.
"What was that?" Tayna asked and Amelia had her hand on the door knob.
"I don't know."
"Wait!" Tayna whispered harshly and grabbed Amelia's wrist.
'Huh!? Did Tayna see my shadow doing weird shit? W-What do I tell her if she did? I mean, I don't know what is going on either. Oh, Goddesses! What is going on with—'
"I think there are guys having sex," Tayna whispered to Amelia who was dumbfounded.
"R-Really?... Why do you think that?"
"I can hear them moaning. It's probably some servants fooling around while Leandra and Aric are busy. That's why we haven't seen a servant on patrol. Come on. We need to get out of here before they finish there gross session and find us eavesdropping."
Tayna hurried with the box of stolen jewelry in her hands. Amelia did a double take before chasing after her sister in w.
"S-Slow done!... Gah! I'm not used to running with my new body."
"Get used to it quick."
Amelia caught up to Tayna and they reached the end of the hallway where the big double doors that led to the hallway, which connected to the bathroom.
'This day keeps getting weirder,' Amelia thought as the two quickly sneaked through the doors and closed it behind them.
Once Amelia's shadow was out of the guest wing the six tendrils holding the now six shadows yanked the six men through the doors of the two guests rooms with a thunderous sound as the men crashed into the wall and fell to the ground.
The tendrils then slithered across the ground and returned to Amelia's shadow.
The four guards were blooded, bruised, and unconscious. While the Duke's valet and footman were struggling to stand.
"Rick... W-What happened," the valet said weakly to the footman who was ten feet away.
"I... Don't... Know. We were about to jump them... And all of a sudden... Something invisible wrapped around me and the guards... I tried to escape it... B-But it was no use..." Rick said weakly as he coughed up blood.
"W-We have to warn the Duke... We have to... Gah!"
The valet colpsed to the floor.
"Grimm?... *Cough!* G-Grimm?... Oof!"
Rick colpsed to the ground as well. The footman and the valet passed out.
The six men were left lying on the floor of the hallway with bits of wood, gss, and other debris scattered around them.
Their bodies felt drained from the mysterious force. Leaving the Duke unaware of Amelia's awakened powers. House Dule's children were going to become the most feared nobles in the entire Kingdom.
