Jin Yu stopped in a quiet alleyway, he swept his spiritual sense around to make sure no one was watching.
A silver mist spread from his fingers, concealing him in a private veil that blocked all probing eyes or senses.
In his palm, a small translucent orb emerged, glowing and pulsing softly.
The miniature floating mansion within slowly rotated, untouched by the outside world.
He closed his eyes and sent a sliver of his will drifting inside.
What... is this?!
Jin Yu almost exclaimed in disbelief as an unfamiliar landscape unfolded before him.
How...?
“What on Solenthia happened here?” he muttered, voice distant, as he scanned the surroundings.
The Mansion, Once withering and void of life: the lotus pond that lost it's essence, the flowers surrounding it that were dull and lifeless, the grass that had turned brittle yellow, even the garden behind the mansion that looked hollow and drained.
Everyone of them had been sucked dry of their vitality and were struggling to heal, but now, all Jin Yu could see was a lotus pond so dense with spiritual essence that he couldn't see the depth, spirit flowers blooming in utmost brilliance, exuding absolute beauty and perfection, their petals opening and closing in one, synchronized rhythm.
Each one pulsing with raw vitality that Jin Yu felt full just by inhaling their fragrance.
The grass has turned greener, the Garden behind the Mansion seems rejuvenated as it hummed like a sentient being, exhaling white mist as if it was too full and has so much to spare.
The trees in it had bore fruits, the flowers stood taller, their colors deep and vibrant. Their stems trembling with concentrated Life Essence.
It was as if they jumped a whole tier in just three days. From Low-grade to Peak-grade.
Just looking at them, Jin Yu felt like becoming a vegetarian.
Three majestic stallions stood not far from the stable, feeding on the spiritual grass in the garden.
Their glossy black coats that used to gleam like polished obsidian now looked dull, but not the kind of weak dullness, but one that spoke of strength and Nobility.
Their once rippling muscles had retracted into their body, becoming just faint visible threads of muscles, but such muscles was anything but weak, they looked like they would burst with power with each stride of theirs.
The fire that once danced in their eyes now looked calm and more sentient.
The two ordinary horses belonging to the late Slavers, though couldn't compare to the three stallions, were now anything but ordinary, they have become a spirit beast, exuding a power that shouldn't belong to their lineage.
Stolen novel; please report.
All in all, the air was alive and thick with the essence of renewal.
For a moment, Jin Yu forgot he was in Solenthia.
"What....on Earth happened here?"
"Master, you are here" Haozi's voice rang out from within the Mansion.
"Yes." Jin Yu muttered, still taking in the breathtaking view before him, if was as if he was in paradise.
Nine figures stepped out of the Mansion, Two men, Six children and a Vibrant Purple, no. Yellow Flower.
Jin Yu jaw dropped when he saw them.
"Seriously?, In just three days?"
Everyone, literally everyone had jumped a whole realm, and by a whole realm,
It means Haozi who was in the beginning stage of Mortal Realm had now reached Initial stage of Essence Core Realm, jumping a whole five stages in just three days!.
He even looked full of energy as if he would breakthrough anytime soon, and more shockingly to Jin Yu, he had grown taller and bulkier, gone was his childish frame, he now looked like he was in his twenties, if he stood beside Jin Yu, those who don't know will think he was his immediate brother.
And Min Li?.
His Mid-Stage cultivation was still the same but on a Whole different Realm, The Essence Core Realm.
His slender figure got more refined, looking even more noble, like a naturally born Young Master.
His cultivation that was threading on consolidation was now perfectly refined, it is obvious he has absolute mastery of his power.
And the kids?, They were now anything but kids, their young frame had stretched taller, a little more robust but refined, if they looked like hungry and malnourished beggars before, they now look like some rich kids who had drank divine milks since their birth.
Their eyes shone with an energetic light, as if they were ready to break stones with their bare fist.
And more importantly, four of them had successfully entered the path of a cultivator, they were brimming with the Initial stage of Mortal Realm and it didn't look like that's the end, Jin Yu could feel a large pool of dormant energy in their body as if a slight trigger would let loose a dam of power.
The other two kids hadn't form a Cultivation Root and the dormant energy in their body wasn't as much as others but it was far richer, denser and concentrated than every other.
They should be the strongest of the children but Jin Yu couldn't tell why they haven't even form a root.
So, they were still mortals, though an ordinary mortal could never compare to them.
Rainbow didn't change much, but she looked so Yellow from Happiness.
Jin Yu just couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Did they enter a divine realm while I was away?
But wait...why are they all looking good?, As if whatever they ate didn't want anyone looking ugly.
Min Li chuckled smugly.
"Two days, Master, Two." He said, struggling to stop himself from beaming.
Haozi nodded with a rare smile, as if he has a thousand words to say to Jin Yu.
Yara, the little girl who had been awestruck by Jin Yu before, strained her neck to look up at the sky, her eyes shining in excitement as she try to catch a glimpse of Jin Yu.
"Master." She called softly, staring into empty space.
Jin Yu didn't have the time to answer when Min Li spoke. "Kid, I told you that you are too young and weak for the likes of my Master, stop dreaming."
Yara shifted her gaze to him and scrunched up her nose as if mocking him.
"You little-!" He was about to berate her.
"Enough!" Jin Yu cut in.
"I will get the full gist later, I need Haozi now, look after the others, Min Li."
In a flash of light, Haozi disappeared from the Mansion.
"I can help too, Master, I am stronger than him." Min Li quickly speak up before Jin Yu leave.
"I know, you will get to help later, don't worry." Jin Yu reassured him.
Sigh.
"Okay." He agreed, a little down.
----
Outside the floating Mansion
Haozi stared at Jin Yu, a little too excited.
Jin Yu also stared at him, speechless.
This kid is almost as tall as me, I can't even pat his head anymore.
"You have gotten even more stronger, Brother Yu'er" Haozi eyes glinted in admiration.
Jin Yu smiled. "You too."
"It's all thanks to-" he began.
"Shuuuuu"
Jin Yu shushed him. "No spoiler, you all will tell me later."
Haozi bobbed his head, still excited, as if he couldn't wait.
"I have an important mission for you, one you must never fail, okay?"
Haozi's excited expression turned solemn.
"Yes, Young Mast-"
Pah!
Jin Yu lightly smack his head.
Haozi was stunned for a few seconds before he quickly corrected himself. "Yes, brother!"
Jin Yu nodded. "Very well."
A jade slip appeared in his hand.
"Take this" he handed it to him.
"deliver it to whoever is leading the Jin Brothers, they would be here anytime soon, or already here."
Haozi collected the slip and nodded in all seriousness.
"I will, brother. Where do I find them though?"
A map appeared on Jin Yu's hand. "Follow this." He gave it to him.
"Okay." Haozi skimmed through it and went away, his now refined frame disappearing from the alley.
Jin Yu stared at his retreating figure.
A smile tugging at his lips.
Now, let the show begin.
He cancelled the Misty Veil technique and walked out of the alley, just before he entered the main street, Jin Yu stopped in his tracks, a frown creasing his brows.
