Library
The head librarian was as always at his post right at the entrance waiting to help anyone that entered those doors as it was his duty.
His green suit with silver trimmings was in perfect order, each of its black buttons polished till they shined, along with anything else on his person.
His white hair was cut just at the perfect length and his mustaches kept in top condition each side perfectly symmetrical and curved just the right way.
Hrodwulf Kepler was the kind of man that loved his job and wanted nothing more then to be impeccable at it, his whole staff was trained to execute each task with the precision and most of all shared his passion and pride.
How could he ever trust those inestimable books to anyone less? Which was why lately he had been in a sour mood as the least worthy person to touch such treasures had done so and to make things worse even took two prized collections away.
Two collections that suspiciously closely matched what she had wanted in the first place.
It was impossible for that bastard to have figured out his system without help from his staff, which meant someone had betrayed him, probably out of misplaced pity, but they were all denying doing such thing.
Kepler would have understood and forgiven the transgressor with time, but with each denial the trust he had in his staff was eroding and it was all because of that unworthy brat waltzing in there thinking she belonged in those walls.
As if he had summoned such calamity just from thinking about her the bastard had loudly entered his library again, almost slamming the doors behind her.
His eyes narrowed on her as she made her way to him, before he went back to ignoring her presence.
Such a filthy creature didn’t have the right to be acknowledged
“Hi, I need some more books!” she had said in a loud and annoying matter, but she would be speaking to wall just like she did before, however this time she was alone so he gave a look to his staff, those who saw nodded in understanding.
“Hello did you hear me?!” she said then crocked her head “Oh you are going to ignore me again? I guess I will help myself” and with that she made her way towards the rows of book, only for his staff to get in her way, blocking her path at every turn as they pretended to keep doing their tasks without ever glancing in the bastard’s direction

Hrodwulf felt the trust he had in his staff getting restored as he saw them doing exactly what he had instructed and this time they didn’t even let out a giggle.
It was just as that filth deserved, which was nothing at all.
The library doors opened up again and this time Miss Hawkings came out of them looking utterly displeased
“Lady Veronique, what did I say about wandering off?!” she scolded and walked over to catch the bastard by the arm “I am sorry Mr Kepler, I will get her out of your hair”
“Not a problem Miss Hawkings” he nodded at the woman knowing how frustrating it must be to be forced to teach such ungrateful brat
“Oh Lady Rhea just had her skill assessment, she didn’t get an active one and was quite upset so if you could send a book about some harmless active skills she could learn to my study it would greatly be appreciated” Miss Hawkings cordially asked at which he nodded
“I will personally choose a suitable book” Hrodwulf consented, already having something in mind
“Thank you Mr Kepler, have a nice day” the woman bowed to him then pretty much dragged the bastard out of his library
Something that he watched with great satisfaction.
Corridor
Veronique felt as if her arm was about to fall off with the way Miss Hawkings was both gripping and pulling on it on top of basically forcing her into jog
“Hey slow down” she called out feeling as if she was about to trip, the woman stopped at once and at the same time let go which did make her fall on her face
“For Luminance I am so sorry” Miss Hawkings sounded genuinely guilty
“It’s okay I am fine” Veronique brushed the apology off and got on back on her feet, right as she did that Miss Hawking let out a sharp intake of air “what?”
“Your nose! you are bleeding!” the old hag said out of panic at which Veronique touched her nose with her fingers and indeed saw a bit of blood, but not enough for it be serious.
“Oh it’s just a nosebleed” Sure her nose hurt a bit but it wasn’t the end of the world, then she ended out letting out a eep sound as Miss Hawking unexpectedly picked her up “what are you doing put me down!” she said alarmed
“We must give you medical attention at once!” the woman declared and started running.
Fast.
Quite fast.
They were even leaving a cloud of dust behind them.
“I am fine! It’s just a nosebleed!” Veronique shouted trying to stop the old hag, from her point of view Miss Hawkings was also mowing through all of the Dead giving the illusion that she was running them over and it wasn’t fun to watch from this position, because it made her feel as if they were going to crash at any moment even if such thing was impossible.
Her brain can’t fully execute the memo that they weren’t real at this speed.
It was terrifying and she had never been a big fan of speed in the first place.
“Rhea needs us!” Veronique ended up saying out of desperation to make this experience stop more then actual concern about leaving the child alone
“Rhea will be fine, she’s not bleeding!” but Miss Hawkings wasn’t deterred one bit.
Music Room
“Oh we almost ran out of pastries” a petite maid with big round glasses taking more then half of her face had pointed out in low tow to her colleague, her eyes trained on Lady Rhea as she savored the treat as if it were the best thing in the whole world
“Miss Hawkings must have made a mistake in taking so few of them” Margaret pointed out before declaring “I will got get more while you keep Lady Rhea’s company”
“Hurry up before Miss Hawkings arrives, and remember that there is also Lady Veronique” the maid had recommended her
“I know Isabella, don’t worry about it” Margaret assured her “I will be back before you know it” and with that she left.
