Chapter 2
Opening up his administrator HUD he goes to the Public Broadcast Sub-Category and activates the admin apparel set hiding his face so when he is out in public people won't come up to him and harass him about not being able to log out. He then activates the broadcast and waits a few moments as the world pauses so people can watch and listen to the broadcast without being attacked by mobs or anything else.
With the announcement done Stanley checked the reported bugs log and set the notification settings to once every hour if there is a report so he isn’t instantly spammed with reports. After that, he went and started to create a character so he could blend in with the people and not be noticed and would have free will to move around. Before he did that though he needed to talk to the AI that runs the whole game system.

With this Stanley expected the AI to open a voice and text chat with him, but instead, the Overlord appeared in front of him in a physical NPC character model.
“That's new” Stanley mused to himself
“You called master?” the Overlord said and kneeled to him
“Yes something major has happened and many of the game systems are nonfunctional you are to put 60% resources into a full system scan and repair there are bound to be major bugs in the game since this happened the main thing I want you to focus on is to bring back up external communications so we can talk to people on the outside and explain what is currently going on. Put all 60% resources into doing that then once it's done focus on the bug in cell 184 then spread those resources out to fix all the reported bugs in the started area the more of those we can crack down on the better.”
“Confirming commands. Allocating resources... complete.” the AI droned in a toneless voice
“That is all for now dismissed”
“Acknowledged”
With that, the AI disappeared and Stanley decided he needed to make a character to explore his creation with. under the guise of looking for bugs when he really just wanted to run around his world
“Finally that took way to much time” Stanley muttered to himself. “Why did I even set a limit for that? maybe the AI did it to try to limit people from breaking the system by creating more characters and spamming certain items.”
“Now since that took me way to long there are now multiple bug reports I have to respond to so I will have to get to creating a new character for myself after I deal with these reports”
With that done a portal started to appear in front of Stanley “This is going to be a very long day,” he sighed to himself and the portal dragged him in.
