Reagan finally woke up from his slumber, feeling quite a deal larger then he had been. He unburrowed himself and his new friend to take a look at their surroundings but received a notification as he left the ground.

  Reagan was confused as immediately he was in a new area, his buddy was still there but it was entirely different from where he had been. There were much more seaweed and other shells lying around, the biggest difference being the steep increase of other creatures. In the distance Reagan could see a gigantic octopus moving slowly, he made a note to self not to walk in that direction. Reagan didn't have much else to do, so he looked at his status after having just leveled up four times.

  Reagan inspected Hatchery Graduate.

  Reagan inspected the Incubation phase as he was confused about what it meant.

  Well the sort of explained things. If Reagan was right then every monster started in an area similar to the one he started in, but with different monsters? Either way, Reagan had to get a move on, so he decided to march anywhere that wasn't in the direction of that scary octopus. Reagan checked his size and found himself now almost the size of an outstretched arm. His buddy was now the size of a forearm, basically Reagan's size before he leveled up from killing the TB. Now that he realized it, Reagan needed to give him a name. Calling his best friend "buddy" didn't really seem to fit, so Reagan got to thinking. Reagan knew that he didn't want to give him a complicated name, so he immediately threw away the idea of naming him Aotamat. Aotamat was the name of a giant coconut crab from a movie he watched called... well he forgot the name but thought it was something like Anaom. He also thought of naming him Robin but didn't think it fit very much, so in the end he just chose a short and simple name: Toby.

  Reagan was very bored at the moment and it was then that he came across a new creature, it looked like some type of snail. He decided to attack it and when he did he found out something that was not very fun.

  The snail seemed to have a poison attribute that harmed attackers. Reagan had probably almost killed it in that health as it was now crumpled to the floor. But he decided to leave it, killing it would probably not level him up and he didn't want to waste health in a new area against a measly poison snail. So Reagan continued, Toby was still following him so that was good... wait... since when was there another crab following him?

  There was what looked like a Japanese Spider crab following him as well. Japanese spider crabs had always given Reagan the heebie-jeebies, they just looked so unnatural that he couldn't ever get used to them. Although he recognized how useful they could be given his new situation, their incredibly long arms and legs could help catch fish and other creatures with high mobility. He decided keeping it was the best idea. but it just looked SO creepy.

  He didn't know what to name it, and decided he didn't have to. He didn't want to name such a creepy creature.

  Still continuing to march, Reagan and friends reached a jellyfish. It was very small, but Reagan knew that it would be more difficult to kill then it would seem. Their best bet would be the Japanese spider crab using its superior reach to grab it from above and having him bring it downwards. Sadly Reagan could not communicate with it.

  Toby just went up to it grabbed it by the stingers and yanked it down. Reagan then realized that he was very stupid. Their exoskeleton could protect them from the stings in the first place so jellyfish were easy pickings. Toby held him in place while Reagan beat it to death. Reagan got some Exp for killing it but not very much. He continued on his march feeling quite bored, well, he was bored, until Reagan found a shark. It was three times Reagan's size, and he knew it would be a difficult fight, but he was bored enough to do it.

  Reagan rushed out from the patch of seaweed he was using to hide and used both claws to punch in a frenzy.

  Toby grabbed the shark as hard as he could and kept it in his grasp, which wouldn't do much considering the shark's size, but Toby had luckily grabbed the shark's right fin, accompanied by the coconut crab's incredibly high strength it no doubt did a decent amount of damage, which made it incredibly hard for the shark to swim away. The Spider Crab Attempted to attack but was basically dealing no damage, while their claws were strong, they were not very fit for combat.

  Reagan continued to attack the Shark until it eventually fell, Toby had once again proven that he was, in fact, Reagan's best friend. Reagan was almost ready to level up, and he was overall really happy with how things turned out. He and Toby made quite a capable team.
