I walked out of my house and checked my phone for the time. It was 10 pm. I kept walking until I had reached the beach across the street from my house.
I kicked the warm sand underneath my feet as I walked upon it. When I stopped, I looked up into the moon.
The moonlight lit up the ocean as I stared at it. The calm waters glistened in its reflection of the light. Far off in the sand there lay a girl. I couldn't really see since it was quite far away though. I ran over to her and fell to my knees once I reached her.
I realized that she wasn't awake once I saw that she didn't budge from my appearance. Normally someone would get startled if someone just came randomly running up to them in the dark out of nowhere. I put my head to her chest to see if I had heard a heartbeat.
There was a beat...it wasn't strong though, it was unusually faint. I placed my finger under her nose to see if she was still breathing, and she was.

Her skin glowed in the light of the moon.
Not just a regular glow, but it was more of a shine to it. I had lifted her bridal style and took her back to my house for the night.
I put her in my other bedroom for the night and then I went to bed.
The next morning I woke up and made breakfast for her and myself. I was making her plate and put it on the table before I noticed her standing in the doorway of my kitchen.
She didn't say anything, she just stood there.
I handed the plate to her and she took it out of my hand. She then silently went back to her room to go eat it. I grabbed my plate and put it onto the table for when I was going to return. I went to her room and saw that the door was closed, not completely though. I knocked on the door before I walked in.
Once I walked in I noticed that she hadn't touched her food. She had left it on the nightstand next to her. She was sitting in the bed with both of her legs crossed.
I walked up to her and sat on the edge of her bed.
"Why aren't you eating? Are you not hungry?"
