Glorious Prelude

A red sky, churned earth, and furious grin. A purple cloud suspended in motion as two Muses fight. The man wearing a long blue robe, torn and stained with blood, and the woman in a ripped green dress.

In this desolate wasteland two singing souls play a duet, begging for a respite for their own crimes.

The man's anger manifested as a wreath of flames, burning anything that came close.

The woman, however, was covered in clouds denoting her sorrow it had to come to this.

The clashing of swords sounds out the beat of the battle-song.

"Maria!" The man cries over the howling wind, "This can't go on, we've lost too much!"

"We will never have lost enough to pay for what we've done!" Maria shouted, then seemed to realize something, "I can't control it! Run Al-"

The fractured ground seemed to rise up, revealing a massive maroon body, covered in an exoskeleton, similar to that of an insect's. It stood tall, it's gigantic, ram like horns revealing the truth of it's nature, demonic.

The two masterful monks try to fly away, but fall before the beast, like lambs to a shepherd. The two begin to panic, singing a quite insulting song, yet the being seems unaffected, causing even more panic among the pair.

The monster's mouth opens, revealing a maw full of black teeth, like it's lips. Then, it speaks.

  "Hi I'm Jerry!"
