"What is a dungeon rank up?" Min asked curiously, Petra then pouted as she turned her head away.
"What did I do something wrong?" Almost immediately after he asked the Dixie replied back.
"How course you did something wrong! Giants is one of the best starter species because of their strength! Almost every single green crystal dungeon chooses them since it makes a steady road for success for a beginning dungeon!" Petra yelled furiously, after quenching her anger she floated to the ground going into a fetal position.
"But giants have the worst fertility and evolutions if I saw correctly so wouldn't it be better for a race with better stats?"
"Even so Min, giants are an amazing starter race and not a good race for later stages of a dungeons rise. Also, you need a strong race for a dungeon war to get a higher dungeon rank to get more variety of monsters!"
"Wait... what do you mean by dungeon war?"
"A dungeon war is a battle between two dungeons of the same dungeon rank. The winner of the battle will have their dungeon rank increased! and every single time you increase in rank you get a new race where you can choose to et "
"Oh..." Silence filled the conversation as Min questioned his choices.
"Well is there any other way to rank up other then a dungeon war?" Min asked in slight regret, Petra then sighed before answering.
"A dungeon rank will automatically go up every 100 dungeon levels which is gained through energy harvested from creatures or energy filled objects being present or more preferably killed/destroyed in the dungeon. But this way will be extremely slow" Petra grumbled as she flew up in front of Min.
"Well enough talking it is time for you to create you first monster" Petra said much to Min's delight.
"First you have to sense the mana in your surroundings, close out you thoughts and imagine yourself outside of your body" Min did exactly what he was told and a few minutes later he saw a green speck in the empty darkness. The speck then split into two, then to four, then to eight, and then continued to split before covering his entire sight with a aurora like green light.
"Petra I see some green light?"
"Ah you must be seeing green mana"
"Green mana? are there different types of green mana?"
"Of course! The color corresponds to what element of magic people use and also what creatures a dungeon uses like in your case a green crystal dungeon tend to have creatures of the forest and jungles here let me show you!"
"Okay cool, but what now do I do?"
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"Try to draw the light into the body" Min stared intently into the light as he imagined the specks of light entering his body. As if it was mimicking his thoughts specks of light started to gather towards him. However the light could not go any further.
"Um Petra I was able to gather it but they can not enter my body, is this normal?"
"It is normal, the reason why mana can't enter your body is because your mana capacity is full! I am just teaching you how to regain your mana after we use it to summon a monster" Min then exited his thoughts returning to the Dixie in front of him.
"Okay now think monster summon!" Petra said with excitement.
"Monster Summon?"
"These are some sweet options!" Min said out loud as he looked through the list.
"How can they be sweet? They freaking insects!" Petra said as she makes a face of disgust.
"So... I just press this and it will summon the monster?"
"You don't need to press it just think of it"
"Okay then here goes" Min now then willed an black ant to appear in front of him. In an instant Min felt something leave his body while noticing green light appearing on the ground. The light then faded away reveal a black ant that was 0.5 cm long. Silence filled the room as both Min and Petra looked at the Ant in a dead pan stare.
"What the hell is this bullshit! Why is it so small!"
"What do you mean Min! they are insects! INSECTS!"
"I thought they would be the size of a person as this is a magical world!"
"I question if you are an intelligent dungeon"
"Sigh* I guess this will have to do" Min then summoned four more ants along with the first completely emptying out his mana.
"Well what can we do with these guys?"
"Although they are small they should start expanding out room"
"Room? oh yeah I forgot to ask you, where the heck are we?"
" I do not know actually, I guess it is somewhere underground as rock and soil encase us, well anyway you should regain some mana to summon more ants"
"Okay then" Min then sensed the green mana around him and pulled the light towards himself. However just after one speck of light entered his body no more could enter his body.
"Um Petra?" Min called out nervously.
"Yeah what's the matter?"
"My mana is full" Silence filled the room again as Petra's eyes widened.
"Already!? but it takes about 2-3 three days for new dungeons to regain their mana!" Petra said with an astonished expression.
"Really? then doesn't this mean I can just summon a huge load of insects?" Min asked excitedly, Petra then realized what Min meant.
"As long as there is enough mana then yes!" A smile then formed on her face.
"We might actually stand a slight chance now in the dungeon wars!"
