A Note from the Workshop – Hey! It’s Me!
Hello! Hi! You’re reading this! That means the letter survived the third explosion (the second one was my fault, the first one was… complicated).
I’m Zephyrion.
I build things.
Sometimes they fly.
Sometimes they catch fire.
Sometimes they do both at the same time, which is honestly the best kind of problem.
Right now I’m working on:
A wing-harness that doesn’t melt after five minutes (progress: 62% melt-proof!)
A pocket-sized resonance cannon (don’t tell Enkidar)
A way to make coffee that doesn’t taste like burnt rubber (Omnion keeps sending me disappointed looks. I’m trying.)
The jungle’s full of shiny stuff.
Old Bells, broken machines, giant nuts the size of houses.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
Every time we find one, Nix wants to steal it, Enkidar wants to lecture it, and Sari just sighs and draws a map.
Me?
I want to take it apart and see what happens when I put it back together wrong.
Sometimes things explode.
That’s okay.
That’s how you learn.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering what happens next.
Me too!
I’m building the next part right now.
There might be more explosions.
There will definitely be more fun.
Stick around.
I promise I’ll try not to set the whole story on fire.
(Okay, maybe a little on fire. Just the fun parts.)
Catch you in the next prototype,
—Zephyrion
(Still in one piece. Mostly.)
P.S. If you see a small brass gear rolling around, that’s probably mine.
Keep it safe.
It’s important.
I think.
