My name is Aldorn. I was a 30-year-old normal office worker for 11 years straight before I met a group of people who changed my life. A year ago, the office I was working at was attacked and destroyed by a bunch of terrorist Believers. They targeted my office without specific reasons. They simply wanna create chaos and make a name for themselves. They call themselves The Revolution, and there are about six of them in total. All of their members came from the Underworld. About 90% of the workers died during the attack. I was fortunate enough to be one of the ones who survived.

  But a group of Believers came to the location and helped secure everyone who survived. I was hurt badly, but not to the point of not being able to move. This group of Believers calls themselves The Order, and there were five of them in total. They were not an official organization funded by the government or anything. They are simply five random stranger who found each other and decided to band together to fight evil in this world.

  These two groups of Believers fought against each other with their lives on the line. The city was in ruin because of their fight. But in the end, one of the Revolution’s members was defeated and captured securely. This makes the rest of their members run away and retreat from the location.

  The Order consists of five young adults, a 20-year-old man named Lancelot, an Armament type Believer whose Faith power is to summon a black lance that can gather energy on its tip to shoot a black laser, a 23-year-old woman named Laila, a fire Elemental type Believer who fights by punching and kicking, covering her limbs with her hot flames, shaped into tiger paws, a 24-year-old man named Darwin, a Special type Believer whose Faith power allows him to flip anything and everything within a limited radius and numbers of objects upside down or vice versa, a 19-year-old woman named Elsie, a Summoner type Believer able to summons a lightning four legged dragon, 5 meters from head to its butt, and just its tail alone is 5 meters long, and this woman is the leader of The Order.

  “Are you okay?”

  Lastly, the last member of the order is a 29-year-old woman named Carlene. And she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She is a Special type Believer whose Faith power is to emit green lights from her body, and the green light heals one specific person or multiple people in a limited radius of 2 meters from where she stands. The effectiveness of her healing differs depending on which type she used, though there are still things she cannot heal, like diseases, for example.

  Carlene holds my hand, and I am healed fully with her green light.

  “Your wounds are completely healed. Are you alright right now??”

  I was taken aback by her beauty and her kindness, so instead of gratitude, something else came out of my mouth.

  “MA’AM!! ARE YOU SINGLE RIGHT NOW?”

  “EEEHHH?”

  I grab her hand with both of my hands, and I stare at her with the most sincere, passionate glare.

  “I know we just met and all, but if you’re single, then would you consider marrying me?”

  “EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH???”

  Carlene was obviously taken aback and confused.

  “UUhh? uum? I. . . I. . .”

  I continue my attack without letting her think.

  “In fact, let me help you in your duty! I’ll be your caretaker or luggage carrier, or butler, or whatever it is, I can help! I feel indebted to you and your friends! Let me repay the favor!!”

  “M-Mister, let me finish healing everyone and discuss things with my friends first, alright?!”

  “ALRIGHT!!”

  After a while, she did everything she said she was going to, and with a red face, she accepted my proposal.

  YAHOOOOO!!! I GOT A WIFE!!

  But she soon warned me that she wants to get married AFTER we all defeated all members of The Revolution first. I said no problem as I started living with them.

  They took me to their hideout, and I started working, cleaning and tidying everything inside the place. I also made sure to befriend everyone to make sure that I don’t have any other ulterior motive than marrying Carlene.

  Fast forward to today, it has been about a year since I met everyone. We’ve defeated and captured every member of The Revolution but the last one, their leader. Today, we found where he hid in one of the savannahs in Africa.

  We were all so excited to finally end their terrorizing reigns, and I get to finally marry Carlene. This day has finally come. I am so excited!

  “Urgh. . .”

  I was lying on the ground. I was unconscious, but now I've woken up. The only thing I remember before I passed out was the feeling of a painful impact hitting the back of my head.

  “Everyone. . . What’s with everyone. . .??”

  *!!!*

  I open my eyes, and all members of The Order are lying on the ground, covered in blood.

  “Lance. . .lot-san. . .”

  Lancelot was lying with his back facing up. He lost his right hand and is not moving anymore. He doesn’t seem to be breathing either.

  “Laila. . .san. . .”

  I look towards Laila next. Her entire body was cut in two, and I don’t see her other half anywhere in the vicinity. I started shedding tears.

  I look towards our leader and see that her torso and her lower half are detached from each other, only connected by a pool of blood between them on the ground.

  Despair quickly filled my heart, but that despair heightened when I looked in front of me.

  “Car. . .lene. . .”

  The Revolution leader has his hand pierced through her stomach fully as she’s still standing. He also looks entirely different. He still has his face, but the sclerae of his eyes have turned black. Everything below his neck has become a giant, muscular, dark purple monstrosity with big veins and a few spikes across his entire body. He also grew a tail with a sharp point at its edge.

  I have no idea what I am looking at anymore.

  “Al. . .dorn. . .”

  Carlene looks at me with her left hand, trying to reach me from afar.

  “Carlene. . . Carlene. . . Carlene! CARLENE!! CARLENEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!”

  My consciousness is gradually coming back as I keep raising my voice, calling out her name. The woman that I have ever loved in this world has her belly pierced through.

  *ZRAASSSHHH*

  “ORRRRGGGHHH!!!”

  The Revolution leader, or rather, that monster, pulls out his big, muscular arm from her belly very violently, and a few of the spikes on his arm rip off more of her stomach, pulling her flesh and some organs out.

  “CARLENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!”

  *THUD*

  Her body fell to the floor with her face crashing against the ground first.

  “CARLENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

  I called out to her. I desperately cope with myself, planting thoughts of the possibilities that she would survive this, so that we can finally marry each other.

  *Srrrt srrrt srrt*

  I crawled on the ground towards her. I cannot get up from the despair and heavy feelings in my heart. Please let Carlene survive! Please!

  *Srrt srrt srrt*

  I keep crawling towards her desperately.

  But then I saw her twitch, and she moved her arm, trying to reach out to me.

  “CARLENEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

  I saw her hand motionlessly fall to the ground, and she didn’t move or talk anymore.

  “. . .Carlene?”

  She did not answer.

  “Carlene?”

  “She did not respond.

  I started crying as the realization hit me. Carlene has died.

  The most important person in my life has died and left this world. Seeing someone who just talked to you minutes ago, and died afterward, is messing up my mental even more than it already is.

  I started sobbing and shook my head against the ground. I feel so hopeless and dreadful. This feeling makes me want to die.

  I am someone who has just wasted all of my life on either school or work. I did not do anything but those two things throughout the years of my life. I thought that if I became successful, I could become someone that I could be proud of. Turns out the world is not that sweet. This world doesn’t let me do that. Even with my expertise in the field of my job, I am still paid as minimally as possible. The CEO of the company is so corrupt and greedy that he repeatedly cut off our salaries every few months throughout the years. And we cannot quit either, because when we first joined, they forced us to sign a loyalty paper that would not allow any of us to quit this job, no matter the reason. They can sue me if any of us quit, and that would instantly make us lose all of our lifetime salaries.

  But when the Revolution attacked our company, our CEO was one of the people who died. I was so happy that when I first saw Carlene, I immediately proposed a plan to get out of this life, to be with her and her friends, far away from this shitty office environment.

  My time with everyone was very joyful. Even though I had to do a lot of stuff, they actually paid me A LOT more than my previous company. Plus, they actually treated me like I mattered in that group, even though I was a Non-Believer. Bliss after bliss I spent with everyone for every single day. Such a contrast for my horrible midlife years.

  AND YET I LOST ALL OF THEM AFTER ALL!

  I AM DONE!!

  I DON’T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS WORLD ANYMORE!!

  I’D RATHER DIE NOW!!

  But something inside me clicked.

  And so I was enveloped by a bright white sphere, and a light shot out from the top of the sphere. The sphere and the light slowly turn black. Once the black sphere cracked open and disintegrated, I came out, and I was reborn as a Believer.

  I was standing up when I came out of the black sphere.

  “. . .This is it. I can feel my Faith power. It is a blackhole Faith power!!”

  I immediately encased myself inside a black sphere.

  “HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA!! THIS IS IT!! DIEEEEEE EVERYONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

  The ground, all of the blood, the grass, the trees, everyone’s corpse, including Carlene’s, started to float and revolve inwards towards the black sphere engulfing my body.

  “AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!!! HUMAN LIFE WILL BE EXTINCT!!! SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE INCOMING!! GOOD RIDDANCE, EVERYONE ON EARTH!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHA!!!”

  The black sphere started floating slowly off the ground, and the gravitational force started to get more intense. Everything in the vicinity started getting absorbed quicker and on a larger scale, creating a massive 5-meter crater on the ground.

  “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! TIME TO PERISH!!”

  “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!”

  The Revolution leader jumped towards me to attack me, but his action was futile. He got swallowed into my black hole instead and died instantly after his body was ripped to pieces.

  *FWIP*

  Miyu and Lucas arrived at the scene about 20 meters away from the blackhole.

  *!!!*

  “MIYU-CHAN!!”

  “I KNOW!! WE’RE LATE!!”

  Miyu puts both of her hands forward and tries to stop the flow of time only around the blackhole with her telekinesis.

  “IT'S NO USE!! THE FLOW OF TIME KEPT BEING ABSORBED INTO THE BLACKHOLE INSTEAD!!”

  Miyu also notices that the Believer is inside the blackhole.

  “LUCAS-KUN!! CAN’T YOU WARP THE GUY OUT OF THERE?!”

  “NEGATIVE!! SPATIAL COORDINATES ARE IN SHAMBLES INSIDE THAT INTENSE BLACKHOLE!! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING QUICK, MIYU-CHAN!! IT’S GETTING BIGGER SIGNIFICANTLY BY THE SECOND!!”

  “. . .”

  Miyu closes her eyes to deepen her concentration.

  *!*

  Lucas saw that the blackhole in itself was stopped in motion. The gravitational force that was pulling in everything in the Savannah was also stopped by Miyu.

  “NOW! LUCAS-KUN!!”

  Lucas concentrates deeply and stares intensely towards the center of the blackhole.

  “(TCH!! EVEN WHEN IT'S STOPPED, THE SPATIAL COORDINATES ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE!! I HAVE TO BREAK THROUGH ALL OF THESE JUMBLED MESS TO GET HIS SPATIAL COORDINATE QUICKLY!!)”

  After a rough 60 seconds, Lucas finally got a peek towards the inside of the black sphere.

  “GOT IT!!”

  He put out his right hand, and Aldorn suddenly appeared in his hand.

  *BAAAMM*

  He instantly slams his head against the ground and knocks him out.

  *BWOOOSSSHHHH*

  *PSSSYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*

  The blackhole quickly loses its source of power and disintegrates within milliseconds into nothingness, leaving a 15-meter-wide crater, 5 meters deep on the ground.

  *pant pant pant*

  Both Miyu and Lucas are trying to catch their breath, not because of exhaustion, but because of mental strain during the whole thing.

  “If we were late by a mere second, the blackhole would’ve grown a lot larger. It would even consume this entire continent completely.”

  “Thanks to your quick thinking, Miyu-chan. . .”

  “And thanks to your warps too, Lucas-kun!”

  “So, about the guy. . .”

  “. . .”

  Miyu stands up and walks towards the unconscious Aldorn. With her Faith power, she instantly knows everything that happened in his life, including the tragedy that just unfolded before they arrived.

  Miyu lifts her right hand and closes her palm firmly.

  Aldorn’s head suddenly exploded into a pool of blood immediately. He instantly died painlessly.

  “. . .I can never get used to seeing this, Miyu-chan.”

  “. . .I know. I apologize for forcing you to keep doing this, Lucas-kun.”

  “It’s alright. It is what we decided a long time ago. There’s no point in questioning our decision anymore. We just have to keep walking this path.”

  “. . .right.”

  After resting for a few seconds, Lucas stands up, and Miyu places her hand on his shoulder. And both of them vanish from the spot once again.
