Lucas picks up a black marker and a red one. He begins to scribble something on the whiteboard.
*Srrk srrk srrk*
He draws a very ugly drawing of a person with long spiky red hair with a black and red shirt, and a pair of dark brown pants; it looks like a three-year-old’s first attempt at drawing. Lucas turns around towards all of them to begin explaining something.
*!*
A lot of the members of the Ten Commandments of God, mainly, Lukia, Aika, Claudia, and Rowki, all cover their mouths with their hands to hold back their laughter. They all saw how serious Lucas looked after drawing such a bad drawing on the whiteboard. Miyu, on the other hand, was signalling the others not to make any sound as much as possible by putting her index finger in front of her mouth.
“As soon as I arrived at where the gigantic pitch black dome was, I saw the famous Serial killer Judge in the vicinity. But I immediately infiltrated the infinite maze before he could detect me. I was wary of his Faith power since I had no information about it.”
*!!!*
“Serial killer judge. . .” said Aika.
“That’s one of the most famous names in the Underworld, alongside Nightmare and the Queen of Time.” said Rowki.
“The one they said that he always leaves his victims to die from blood loss, and that he is only active at night. Though I don’t see anything related to the word ‘judge’ regarding his title.” said Aika.
“When I resolved everything and discarded the entire infinite maze, all of his 3.000 people were still alive. I sent them all outside near that serial killer judge to see what he can do as per Miyu-chan’s request.”
“. . .”
Lucas pauses for a second to attract everyone’s attention and focus on what he’s about to say next.
“I had no expectation or anything, but he still blew my mind! He completely massacred almost all 3,000 criminals with extreme ease, and it only took him a few minutes, and even then, it’s because of how they all paced themselves to dive towards him. He left out a few people, and if I’m not mistaken, telling them to stop their way of living, or else he’ll come find them and execute them.”
*!!!!*
“Almost 3,000 people?” said Kurou.
“Within minutes?” said Lukia.
The rest of the Ten Commandments of God were shocked. From what they all heard, the serial killer judge is capable of something that each of them is also capable of accomplishing, though they never had the chance to.
“The floor was covered in blood, flesh, and bones, for hundreds of meters, but of course, I already cleaned all of them up with my Faith power.” adds Lucas.
“Speaking about Faith power, what about his? In what way did he kill all of them?” asks Claudia.
“He cuts them into pieces horizontally, instantly killing them. Though there’s nothing that sliced them. As soon as they all came close to him, they were all instantly cut to pieces. Something invisible is cutting them, at least that’s what I get from my observation.”
“. . .”
“He also has another ability.”
*!!*
“During the last 1,000 criminals, he grows three pairs of red wings with black outlines, and he summons countless numbers of floating red swords with no handle, and they all fly really fast, quickly kill most of the last 1,000 criminals, leaving about 75 of them alive. My assumption is that his swords all flew at the speed of sound.”
“. . .”
Everyone was silent after hearing Lucas’ explanation.
“How do we fight someone that can kill anyone and we wouldn’t even see it coming. . .” said Lukia.
“Remember, Lukia-chan! Lucas-kun said, all of those criminals were cut only after they all came close to him, so there’s probably a range limit. We, elemental Believers, can easily handle him from a distance.” said Kurou.
“Those countless blades, however, are a different story. I didn’t hear anything Lucas-kun mentioning that he was moving at all during the countless blades part. Am I right, Lucas-kun?” asks Claudia.
“Yes! He was just standing still while 925 criminals dropped dead within seconds.” answers Lucas.
“. . .”
Everyone went quiet for a few seconds before Lucas provided more information.
“Oh, I forgot to mention, he has comrades on location with him. There was another guy with him. He has a Summoner type Faith power, and his summoned being looked like a sentient floating knight, though he didn’t use his Faith power at all, so I have no idea what his abilities were. And when I arrived in the infinite maze, the Game master was fighting a woman and a young female teen, both of whom were Believers. Though I am not sure what their Faith powers were. And then there was another woman, but she was unconscious, and she was a friend of theirs. At the very least, the serial killer judge has at least four comrades on his side.”
“I see! Lucas-kun, good job! You can go back to your seat!”
Lucas did as he was told.
“Next, Lukia! Present what happened at the BWC!”
Lukia stands up.
“Okay!”
She walks to the whiteboard, picks up the black marker, and draws something on the whiteboard.
*Srrt srtt srtt*
She drew a young teen girl wielding a giant scythe and a young blonde teenage boy wearing green clothes.
“So, as you all knew, I was invited to be a host at the BWC tournament event as a guest commentator. Truthfully, I did enjoy the event, seeing so many different Faith powers and so many fights between unique Believers was so much fun. However, the event itself was infiltrated by a pair of terrorists near the end of the event. Right just as I was thinking that I finally get to go home!”
*TAK TAK*
Lukia taps the scythe-wielding girl drawing with the black marker.
“This girl right here is the culprit. She introduced herself as, if I recall correctly, the sixth judge, and that she was a part of a group named Seven Layers of Judgment. She also calls herself the Judge of Greed, but I had no idea what to make of that. She took around 70,000 people hostage inside the stadium.”
“A scythe? So, Armament type? How the heck did she take 70,000 hostages while being an Armament type? I was for sure she was an Elemental or Special type.” asks Aika.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
“She erected a gigantic green fire dome, trapping us all inside, by shooting it up with her scythe.”
“Heeeee?? Never heard an Armament type do that! What is her Faith power?”
“Death! She has the power of Death!”
*!!!!*
Everyone was surprised and gasped.
“W-What?” said Claudia.
“The power of death?” said Kurou.
“This reminds me of that one dude I fought years ago.” said Lucas.
“. . .”
“Lukia-chan, did you fight her? Did you win?” asks Claudia.
“No. . . It wasn’t really a win or a loss, actually, now that I think about it. We fought long enough to the point of entering Second State, and we kept fighting until our timer ran out. I also got hit a few times, and my soul went out of my body.”
*!!!*
Everyone was shocked once again.
“How did you survive that?”
“Even though I was a soul, I still can use my Faith power outside my own body. It turns out our Faith power is connected to the soul, instead of the body or the mind. I touched my physical body as a soul, and I was absorbed back into it.”
“I see. That’s a great hint for all of us if one of us ever had the chance to fight her.” said Aika.
*!!*
But then everyone was surprised that Sierra suddenly raised her hand.
“Please let me be the one to handle her. All of you, please, never lift a single finger towards her.”
Most of them were dumbfounded by her statement/request.
“Why are you so interested in her, Sierra-chan?” asks Rowki.
“. . .She is. . . my best friend.”
*!!!!*
Everyone fell silent quickly, and they no longer asked any questions, though Miyu had already known about this since she had been personally told by her.
“N-Next! She had a helper/assistant, a boy at the same age, I think. He was an Armament type Believer. He can summon an arsenal of equipment of various types, from guns, flashbangs, survival knives, and such. One of the things he summoned was some kind of satellite jammer that floats stably in the air that cuts off communications of electronics, radio waves, the internet, and such. His ability is that he can swap places with any of his summoned equipment. For example, he mainly shot a bullet and swapped places with it to teleport between places very quickly, though of course, not as fast or instant as Lucas-kun’s warps. I think he himself is not a threat to us. The main thing about his Faith power is its utility and how he can come up with smart tactics to bridge the power gap between him and his opponents!”
*!*
*Clap clap clap clap*
Everyone suddenly claps after Lukia finished her explanation.
“Great information, Lukia-chan!” said Aika.
“That’s very detailed! And you even add your own observation to it!”
“Now, I’m glad that you actually went and commentate there! Remember how unwilling you were at first when you found out you were invited?” said Miyu.
“T-Thank you, guys. . .” Lukia shyly bows her head a few times while putting her left hand behind her head.
“Okay, good job, Lukia-chan! Is there anything else?”
“. . .”
Lukia thinks for herself.
*!!!*
“Wait! I remember! There was someone else who infiltrated the stadium, though not necessarily the tournament itself. It was a yellow-haired woman, and she had two pairs of golden wings on her back!”
Lukia quickly turns towards the whiteboard and draws something really quickly.
*Srrt srrt srtt*
“There! This woman! I almost forgot about her!”
“Who was she?” asks Rowki.
“She mentioned being a Judge as well. Judge of. . . something. I apologize. I did not remember.”
Miyu closes her eyes for a few seconds and opens them again.
“She said she was Judge number five as well as being the Judge of Gluttony!”
*!!!*
“EH? MIYU-CHAN? HOW DID YOU KNOW?” asks Lukia, surprised.
“I dove deep into your minds, Lukia-chan! And you did hear her say that, but the memory quickly went to the bottom of the abyss within your mind because you weren’t really paying attention to it.” explains Miyu.
“I have no idea that that’s how memories work. AND I HAVE NO IDEA THAT YOU CAN DO THAT!! YOU’RE SCARY, MIYU-CHAN!!”
Everyone else agrees and nods silently.
“G-Guys, I apologize! I swear I never use this power to peek into the deepest depths of your minds ever! That was an emergency, so I had to! If any of you have any private, shameful memories, I’ll be sure to never peek through them! I can tell if memories within your minds are embarrassing or not, don’t worry!” explains Miyu.
“(For some reason, that sounds like a giant lie. . .)” thinks everyone collectively.
“A-Anyway! I remember seeing a golden light breaking through the green fire dome. So, I guess her Faith power allows her to either become light or create light? I am not sure of her type.”
“If you’re not sure of her type, that mostly means that she is a Special type. That is usually the case every single time.” said Rowki.
“Oh, one more thing! The woman with two pairs of wings had a male partner with her, and he was able to break through the green fire dome easily as well when no one else couldn’t including me. As for his Faith power, I had no idea.”
“I see. Is that everything, Lukia-chan?”
“One more thing, it seems like they all serve the same God as us, Lord Jesus Christ.”
*!!!!*
Everyone was surprised once again.
“How could that be? Why would God choose some dangerous vigilantes to roam free in this world?!” wonders Kurou.
“Yeah! I can’t wrap my head around that part as well.” said Lukia.
“Knowing our God, He probably has the most roundabout ways that we can only understand once everything unfolds!” adds Lucas.
“I’m sorry, everyone, it seems like I’m the only one who didn’t know about this God. . .” said Sierra after raising her right hand.
*!*
“D-Don’t worry about it for now, Si-chan! You’re new here anyway. I’ll tell you all about Him afterwards!” said Lukia.
“Okay, Lu-chan.”
“I am in the same boat as you, Sierra-chan! I barely know about Him as well. I found out about Him just recently. We can learn about Him together!” said Claudia.
“Okay, Claudia-chan.”
“If you have any questions about Him, you can ask any of us, okay, Sierra-chan?” said Aika.
“Okay. Thank you.”
“Alright then! Regarding the judges, I’m sure the Lord will answer eventually! We’ll just have to keep our Faith in Him as always!”
“Right!” said everyone in harmony except for Sierra.
“Okay, you can go sit down, Lukia-chan! Next! Claudia-chan!”
“Right!”
Claudia stands up and walks towards the whiteboard. She picks up the blue marker and draws two things quickly.
*Srrt srrt srrt*
She drew two drawings of a female teen and a man.
“So, as for my case, I met these two by coincidence when I visited my old house in Japan.”
*TAK TAK*
“The girl right here is the one I fought, and I’m afraid that she is an Ice elemental Believer that is as powerful as any of us! Maybe minus our top four or Kurou-san as well!”
*!!!*
“ICE BELIEVER?” said Rowki, surprised.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I REALLY WANNA HAVE AN ICE BELIEVER AS A FRIEND!! OUR FAITH POWER WOULD BE HIGHLY COMPATIBLE!! AAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHH!!!” shouts Lukia I frustration while gripping her head with both of her hands.
“Did you lose against her, Claudia-chan?” asks Lucas.
“Yes, I did.”
“. . .And you’re one hot-tempered woman who should never be angered, yet you lost to her. Is she also a Judge?”
“Yes, she was! She said she was the Judge of Envy, but I don’t remember her saying anything about her number.”
“What about that man she was with?”
“He’s. . . my relative in the most roundabout way. His Faith power is Silver Transformation type. His silver is very heavy, and he can easily produce a shockwave just by clapping his hands together. Though his weakness is extreme temperature, I wasn't a good match for him, so he wasn’t a threat at all. So, just like Sierra-chan, if there was a time that any of you met these two, please don’t harm them and inform me instead. Let me be the one to handle them. I beg all of you!”
*!!!*
Claudia suddenly bows her head on the carpet below.
“C-CLAUDIA-CHAN!! THERE’S NO NEED FOR THAT!! WE UNDERSTAND!!” said Miyu as she suddenly stood up in reflex.
“Y-YEAH!! WE GET IT!! HE’S A RELATIVE OF YOURS!! WE WON’T HARM HIM OR HER!!” said Aika.
“PLEASE LIFT YOUR HEAD UP, CLAUDIA-CHAN!!!” shouts Lukia.
“Claudia-chan. . .” said Sierra.
Claudia lifts her head and stands up. She looks towards everyone and smiles at them.
“Thank you for understanding, everyone!”
Everyone in the room felt her heartfelt gratitude. Most of the women shed a tear, but the men held back theirs, including even the emo Kurou.
“Is there anything else, Claudia-chan?”
“Hmm, basically, we just fought in the middle of the ocean to our heart's content. No one was there, and the conflict was mostly personal, so I guess that’s it!”
“Alright, you can sit down!”
Claudia sits back in her seat, and Miyu stands up now. She walks to the whiteboard with all of the drawings.
“Seven Layers of Judgment is what they call themselves.” said Miyu as she writes what she just spoke off in the whiteboard.
“So, we can assume that there are seven Judges in total! Each Judges have one helper of some sort. We have no idea what their true roles are as of yet. And they have numbers and a specific category of sin assigned to them.”
Miyu writes five and six on the drawings of the Fifth Judge and the Sixth Judge.
“As for now, we have no idea about the others’ numbers! Let’s proceed with our missions while we keep these matters in our minds!”
“YES!!” said everyone in harmony.
“Don’t forget to find any information regarding them and the word Judges during missions, though please don’t neglect your primary missions in all cases!”
“YES!!”
“Claudia-chan! Lucas-kun! Sierra-chan! Lukia-chan! I want written and detailed reports of what you all just shared with us! Give them to me in one week, alright?”
“YES!!”
“For now, this meeting is finished! You are all DISMISSED!!”
“YES, MIYU-CHAN!!”
Everyone stands up and leaves the room one by one, except for Lucas and Miyu.
“So, what do you want me to do?”
“That Game Master, guy! Let’s decide his fate, just the two of us!” said Miyu with a stern look.
*!*
Lucas immediately recognized her wording.
“Got it!”
Miyu puts her hand on his shoulder, and they both vanish from the special meeting room.
