Hana suddenly lunges forward towards the wife, holding the knife backward, and pointing its tip towards the wife, exactly at her throat. Her jump creates a shockwave behind that knocks away and messes up most of the furniture in the living room.

Kaito summons his summoned being in front of the wife, and it grabs Hana’s hand with its right hand by her wrist.

“LET GO OF MY HAND!!” said Hana, staring intensely at Kaito’s summoned being.
The summoned being holds her hand tighter, and it causes Hana to swing her arm backhandedly and launch the summoned being towards a wall.

The summoned being crashed and was planted into a wall of the living room.
“I am so sorry, Madam!”

At the same time, Kaito pushes the wife towards a wall behind them, and the pain made her lose her hold of his arm. Kaito immediately stands up to face Hana, who’s already charging forward, with the knife, towards the wife lying on the floor.

Kaito grabs both of Hana’s hands with both of his hands and stops her before she reaches the wife.

Kaito’s summoned being carries the two of them to fly up and breaks through the ceiling of the house. Since this is a three-story house, all of them went through the ceiling two times until they’re all outside.
Kaito’s summoned being throws Hana away from the hole on the rooftop.
They are currently above a row house that extends for about 25 houses, with each house being 8 meters wide. The rooftop of the entire row house is the same flat concrete for all 25 houses.
Hana slides off and stops about 3 houses away from the hole. She stands up and stares intensely at Kaito.

Kaito once again blocks Hana’s punch and neutralizes it. He swiftly opens his right hand and summons the Sword of Purification. He tries to stab Hana in the chest with it.

Hana jumps away immediately, creating a 10-meter distance between them, and he misses.

But then, Hana realizes that Kaito’s summoned being is nowhere near him.

It suddenly appears behind her and grabs her, locking her arms in place with its hands.

Kaito suddenly jumps forward and closes the entire 10-meter distance within a second and thrusts the Sword of Purification at her chest.
“HRRRGGGHHH!!!”
Hana’s entire body glows in dark red, and black sparks occasionally appear throughout. She jumps diagonally backward to the sky, outpowering Kaito’s summoned being, as well as avoiding the Sword of Purification.
*CLANG*
She hits the summoned being with her elbows backward, and the impact makes it let go of its hold on her arms. She quickly turns around in the air and swings her right hand at its helmet.
*BAAANNGGG*
Hana punched Kaito’s summoned being on its head, and its helmet was crushed into bits, and it was sent flying downwards towards the rooftop.
*BAM*
Kaito’s summoned being crashes on the rooftop, and it stops moving. Hana turns towards Kaito, who’s standing on the rooftop. She falls and lands on the rooftop, but then she immediately dashes towards Kaito.
*ZZZRRRRTTTTTTTT*
Hana opens her right hand, and red thunder sparks and appears as a sword in her hand.
“(Tch! Those red thunders again!)”
Hana reaches Kaito and swings her red thunder sword to cut him vertically in half. Kaito swings his shield to clash with the red thunder sword.
*BAAANNNGGG*
Hana’s red thunder sword breaks apart and dissipates. Kaito immediately thrusts the Sword of Purification at her chest.
*BAM*
“URGH!”
Hana launches an uppercut at the lower side of Kaito’s arm as he thrusts the Sword of Purification, resulting in the Sword missing its intended target. Hana immediately swings her left hand to punch Kaito’s belly.
*!*
Kaito immediately dismissed the armor on his feet and put on armor on his entire torso.
*BANG*
Kaito took the punch, but his armor absorbed most of the impact, minimizing the damage, but he was still launched a bit to Hana’s right.
“(OH NO! THE HOLE!!)”

Kaito was worried that Hana was going to enter the house again, but to his surprise, it seems that her target has shifted. Hana is now swinging her right fist at Kaito’s face.
*BAANNNGG*
Kaito blocks her punch with his shield and neutralizes the impact. Once again, he summons the Sword of Purification in his right hand and thrusts it at her chest.

Hana grabs Kaito’s right hand by the wrist, pulls him back, and slams him down to the rooftop below.

Kaito’s back hits the rooftop below quite hard, and he bounces off a few times, but he immediately hops off the rooftop and stands up.
“(Thankfully, my armor protected my back. I didn’t think that she would shift her target to me, which means. . .)”
Kaito takes a glance once more at Hana’s face. There are veins now visible, appearing around both of her eyes, spreading wide to the side of her head.
“(She’s fully been taken control, but not fully transformed.)”

“(The scream! Hana-chan, hang in there!)”
Kaito summons his long sword in his right hand. He takes a stance, wielding the long sword with both arms. His shield resides on the back of his left arm.
Hana lifts her right hand upwards, and a red lightning bolt appears in her hand.
*ZRRRRTTT*
She throws the red lightning bolt at Kaito’s face, and it travels at lightning speed.
*ZRRSSHHH*
Kaito blocks it with his shield, and it disperses.

Kaito lunges forward at Hana. He discards his torso armor and wears his leg armor. Hana clenches her fist, and red sparks spark around it. She takes a stance to punch the incoming Kaito.

But when Kaito was in range to be punched by her, Kaito re-summons his summoned being, and it grabs Hana from behind, ruining her posture. Kaito reaches Hana while she’s struggling to break free from his summoned being’s hold. He thrusts the Sword of Purification once again at Hana’s chest.
*ZAP*
*RUMBLE*
*ZRRRSSSHH*
*!!!*
All of a sudden, a giant red lightning strikes Hana from the sky, even when there’s not a single thundercloud in the clear skies above, and Kaito and his summoned being were caught in the blast.
“AAAAARRGGGHHH!!!”
“KRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!”
After the thunder strikes dissipate, Kaito and his summoned being collapsed on the rooftop.
“Arrrgghh!!”
Kaito felt that his entire body went numb, and he was shaking a little bit from the intense electricity, while his summoned being resisted the lightning a little bit, but it still fell to the rooftop.
Hana was the only one who remained standing, as she was the least affected by that large thunder strike. She pulls out her survival knife.

She creates an extension of the blade with red lightning. Now, her survival knife looks more like a katana with a length of 1,5m on its blade. She swings her ‘katana’ at Kaito’s neck.
*ZRRSSTTT*
Kaito tried to lift his shield, but his muscles still felt numb from the lightning strike. But his summoned being moved and protected its master with its body, and it got zapped by Hana’s ‘katana’.
*THUMP*
Kaito’s summoned being collapsed once again on the rooftop. Kaito finally gets up and stands up. He swings his shield at her shoulder. Hana reacted fast and swung her left fist at his shield.
*BANG*
Her fist and his shield clashed once again. Hana swings her right arm now at Kaito’s side. Kaito lunges forward and shoulder-tackles Hana.
*BAM*
Hana was pushed back a bit, but she stopped. She immediately swings a high kick at Kaito’s head.
*BWUSH*
Kaito leans himself backward and dodges the kick entirely. He stands back up properly, but another kick to his head is already closing in.
*BAM*
Hana swung her left leg at Kaito’s head. At the very last second, Kaito’s head was suddenly clad in the same helmet as his summoned being. He was launched two meters away, but the damage to his head was minimal. He bounces off a few times on the ground before hopping off and standing up properly once again.
“(I can’t really contest with that barbaric strength of hers. What should I do?)”
Hana raises her right hand upwards and points her open palm towards the sky. It was supposed to be a sunny day with a clear sky in Sweden, but thunderclouds suddenly appeared out of nowhere. They filled up the sky of the city and darkened the sky.
*ZAP ZAAP ZAAP ZRRRRRTTTT*
The thunderclouds high above were emitting red lightning in the sky, consistently. Kaito looks above and realizes Hana’s intention.
“(THIS IS PRETTY BAD!!)”
He discards his helmet and wears his leg armor once again. He dashes quickly towards Hana.
“KRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!”
Hana screams, and suddenly, a large red thunderbolt strikes down right at Hana’s right hand.
*ZZZZRRRRRTTTTTTT*
Hana wields the red lightning bolt in her hand as if it’s a giant lance, ready to be thrown at whatever target she wishes. However, Kaito was already 50cm away from her. He already thrusts the Sword of Purification at her chest.
*STABS*
“KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”
Kaito finally stabs Hana with the Sword of Purification, but Hana swings her hand down at Kaito’s back to stab the red lightning bolt.
One.
*GRABS*
Kaito summoned his summoned being next to him, and it grabbed and stopped Hana’s hand with its two hands.
“KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”
Hana’s red lightning bolt is only 3cm away from touching Kaito’s back. She struggles to break free from his summoned being’s hold.
Two.
Hana tries to summon yet another giant red lightning strike to strike all of them again from the sky, but Kaito realizes her intention. The thunderclouds above the sky are roaring loudly once again before they send down another giant lightning strike at the three of them.
*ZZZRRRTTTT*

*RUMBLE*
The red lightning strike hits the three of them, but it immediately disperses after only a few milliseconds.
It turns out that Kaito commanded his summoned being with his will, to control its shield to float above them to take the lightning strike in their stead, completely neutralizing it.
Three.
“KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”
Three entire seconds have passed, and now the giant dome of light quickly burst and grew in size, engulfing the three of them. The Restoration method has been activated. The thunderclouds in the sky also disappear immediately.
“It’s over. . . Finally.”
But then, the giant dome of light instantly vanishes when it only grows to the size of a one-story house. Kaito pulls out the Sword of Purification from Hana’s chest.
*THUD*
Hana collapses on the ground and loses consciousness.

“Finally. . .”
What Kaito did was something that he discovered on his own. Whenever his girlfriend would succumb to her emotions, he noticed that the giant dome of light of the Restoration method always turned his girlfriend back to normal before he even entered her consciousness. He has already dived into her consciousness previously, and he has already saved her from her horrible past, but whatever that keeps taking control of her seems pretty different from her past. He didn’t see anything of the sort from her memories.
He decided that, at the moment, this is the next best course of action until he understands what on earth is dwelling inside her.

Kaito has carried Hana away from the row house. They are now standing on top of the rooftop of a 10-story building. Hana’s face and her entire physical appearance have returned to normal. No symptoms of being taken control are showing anywhere visibly.
“Urgh. . .”
Hana slowly opens her eyes.
“What a beautiful blue sky. . .”
Hana gets up and sits on the floor.
“Kaito-senpai?”
She looks to her left and right and finds her boyfriend sitting on a chair in front of her.
“Ah! You’re awake, Hana-chan?”
“Kaito-senpai, what happe---!!”
Hana stops talking mid-sentence. She sees Kaito’s burnt wound across his entire body. Although they looked mild, she’s still worried sick about him.
“Kaito-senpai. . . Did I---!!!”
Kaito suddenly hugs and embraces Hana.
“Thank goodness, you’re okay, Hana-chan! I was so worried when you were slammed by that man and hit your head and passed out! Is your head okay? Do you feel any pain anywhere?”

Hana immediately understood Kaito’s gestures. She hugs Kaito back and embraces him.
“I’m okay, Kaito-senpai. . .”
“(I really don’t want her to feel guilty and succumb to that emotion as well! That would be dangerous to her mental state!)”
“(I see I lost control of myself again. I can feel that Kaito-senpai felt relieved when he saw me wake up. I hurt him again. And he immediately comforted me and made sure that I don’t feel guilty about it, so I don’t succumb to my emotions again.)”
