Early in the morning, I swiftly instructed Ki and the yellow spirits to reinforce the tunnel using the condensed bricks, and they did so without question. The sight of them lining up to transfer the bricks from their pile to the tunnel was the highlight of the day as I harvested the cherry tomatoes I had forgotten yesterday.
Looking at their progress, they worked quite fast, but it will still take them a couple of weeks to catch up with my ongoing progress. After all, I only let them work on reinforcing the tunnel in the morning so that I can continue digging in the afternoon. It’s for my safety. Considering how fast I can get to cover the kilometers long tunnel in the shortest amount of time while carrying freshly dug rubble, I don’t want to end up in an accident after crashing-and-slipping on the working yellow spirits or something.

Anyway, tonight I spent a couple of hours making another batch of nut wine. Since the previous batch turned out somewhat good, I felt like I was on the right path to uncovering the sacred art of making nut wine and decided to pay more attention to something I had neglected before: preparing the tools and ingredients properly. Here’s what I did.
First, I washed my hands. Then, I rinsed the stone pots with hot water and washed the dirt off my nuts and tomatoes using cold water. Using mana hands, I crushed my nuts and tomatoes together and put them into the same stone pot. Crushing them like this for several pots might take a long time, but I had to do it to minimize contamination. The ratio was two handfuls of mixed nuts per one pot of mashed tomatoes. Once done, I sealed the stone pots using one of the oldest dried slimes as lids and stored them inside the cold storage.
I hope this one turned well!
