The next scene takes place the next day we see Eli getting dressed for school he combs down his hair since it seems to like to stand up. Eli pauses and looks in the mirror..and he looks at the deep crimson of his eyes.."it would've been great if i just got powers.. but nooo i had to look like this." he sighs and heads down stairs slinging his backpack over his shoulder only to find sasha waiting outside of his room door. "Dont even think about it. your not walking alone." despite her petite frame compared to eli's new height she still seems angry and determined. "oh come on sasha dont tell me your gonna start acting all over protective" "so what if i am? your not gonna do a damn thing about it. now lets go" "wait but shouldnt you get to school early? your the student council president!" "I care more about you than some stupid student council" eli pauses. and eventually sighs "fine. i'll let you walk with me" "you better" sasha smiles. and they both head out the front door.| as they step outside they see kiko entering her moms car..before she does she notices them and waves hi to Eli. he waves back and sasha gets jelouse but says nothing. a few Minutes pass by and they make it to the entrance of the school when suddenly Lee pops out of nowhere and hugs Eli "shit eli what the hell happened?" i heard you were in the hospital but i couldnt come visit you cause i wasnt family! you okay?" soon enough lee realizes eli's changed appearance. they're the same height now "woah holy crap dude. what the hell happened...how did you get so tall!? what happened your hair and your eyes" finnaly eli bus in "alright alright i get it calm down lee. i don know either i look like some weird knock off super hero i know" eli know's he has to come up with some kind of explanation becuase people were gonna start asking questions. "the docters said uhm...when i got hit by lightning i became one of those evolved." eli lies "they said i didnt get any sort of special powers i just changed my appearance" "ohh i get it..but eli...you look awesome dude! it would've been even better if you got powers dont you think!" "yeah...it would've" eli begins to think to himself as he walks with lee and sasha "even i dont know why that lightning strike changed me so drastically...i need to figure this out soon..real soon." and with that. the scene ends

  in the next scene eli is walking to class when he suddenly remembers what he has first thing in the morning aka right now. "oh not math and i have a quiz today...there's no way im passing this....what am i gonna do..." eli takes a deep breath just walks into class and sits down. kiko is already a class and waves at him and he waves back. eli is handed the paper by the math teacher eli shakes his head in dissapointing certain that he has no chance on this paper. but what he doesnt notice. is that as he opens the first page of the quiz. his hair stands up slightly and there are small crackles of electricity in his eyes, he finishes his test quickly and rests he paper on his desk. "oh boy..aunt grace is gonna kill me.." after the class ended the teacher hands out the grades and somehow eli passes with flying colors! "what in the actual f-" just then kiko scoots over to him in her chair "woah..a 100%? i only managed a 87 i thought you werent good at math considering how much you didnt seem to understand what was being taught in the firs math class we were in together...guess your just full of surprises eli." "yeah maybe i am..." eli thinks to himself "now how exactly in the hell is this possible! i barely pass the actual math exams let alone the pop quizzes! could it be...that these powers of mine somehow...affected my intelligence without me realizing?" eli seems deep in thought when suddenly kiko speaks "hey arnt you coming to chemistry class?" "oh...uh right..lets go." the two of them enter the chem classroom. and they're told to enter in pairs. but due to kiko's growing popularity being the new girl she gets paired up with a random. and due to eli's new somewhat intimidating appearance. he is forced to work alone. the teacher begins to speak "alright every one. i want you to work with your partners on writing a formula" the teacher continued to explain. but somehow eli understands immediately and begins to write. "I've got it!" eli suddenly blurts out as he raises his hand drawing attention to him and making him embarrased he quickly retreats is hand and speaks "i mean uh...i finished the formula..." the teacher raises an eyebrow "hmm is that so mister cross. alright. hand it here." eli walks up to the teacher and hands her he book. the teacher begins to read. the teacher adjusts her glasses in disbelief "Mr.Cross...this has to be one of the most well constructed formula i've ever seen in my 10 years of teaching...Mr.cross. would you like to be apart of my AP chemistry class?" suddenly the math teacher enters the class "Mr cross!" the teacher says ou of breath "i reviewd your math paper and you've improved exponentially more than ou ever have in your entire ime at this school. it would be wise to be apart of my AP math class!" the entire class jaws drops kiko stares at eli in confusion and disbelief while eli stammers and struggles with all the attention being brough upon him as well as he discovery of his improved intelligence "N-no thank you!" eli blurts out suddenly and sprints out of class out in the hall way eli picks up an unnatural amount of speed enough o make him struggle to control in the increase of speed. he quickly enters the mens room. and closes the stall behind him and takes a deep breahte "i need to calm down...so much things happening at once..." electricity begins to crackle around him small crackles developing in his eyes and his hair standing up "oh no no not right now! turn off!" but eli can control it and eventually a small but large energy blast takes out power in the entire school. bursting the ligh bulbs in the bathroom shortly afer there is an announcement on the PA system "good morning students this is your principal speaking there seems to be some kind of power outage occurring at the moment unfortunately all IT classes are canceled until further notice. have a good day" eli groans "Oh come on what was that!...i really gotta figure out this thing" he looks at the electricity crackling around his hands. after a short while he leaves the bathroom but he doesnt notice that he walked passed a wide eyed Lee. ending the scene there.
