Chapter 1 : Prologue

Sivigel, a city where wealth and opportunities for a brighter future flourish. Crowds of people walk through the streets every day, coming from all kinds of different backgrounds. But this carefully crafted image of a perfect city wouldn’t hold up forever; then at night, it painted a very different picture. Hidden organizations and crime rings ran rampant in the streets during the te hours. With no one to stop it because of the corruption and bribes of officials that these established crime groups engaged in, another one of these dark nights was unfolding. In an alley, a man in a business suit was running in a state of panic. What he was running from, he didn’t know, but knowing that someone had been following him, he ran as if his life depended on it. Then he knew how unforgiving these streets could be at this time. Running from alley to alley, he suddenly came to a stop, colpsing from his exhaustion. As he caught his breath, he looked behind him and said to himself.

  ,,it... its gone ...is it?"

As he slowly got up, a sharp, sudden pain hit him like lightning. "Arrrrgggghhh!" he screamed and colpsed onto the ground as a pool of blood started to form. He could see that stranger again, his face hidden by a mask. As he was squirming in pain on the ground, he yelled.

  "Who ... who are you?"

But the stranger didn't respond and just slowly walked in his direction until he stood right in front of the man bleeding out on the ground.

"Such a shame; I thought you could run faster,"

the stranger said in a feminine voice. Then, with one swift move, the stranger pulled out the knife that was stuck in the man's back. With that, the life that remained in him faded. Holding the bloody knife, the masked stranger just stood there, looking at the bloody scene. Standing completely still in front of the scene, the stranger pulled off its mask. It revealed that it was just an ordinary-looking girl. But she was everything but ordinary; she had a wide smile as she looked at the corpse. After a while had passed, she reached for a flip phone and called a number.

"He's dead; I'll send you the photo."

Then, breathing a deep sigh, she added, "Also, I quite goodbye."

The other voice could be heard trying to argue, but she didn't listen and just coldly hung up. She then, in fast motions, took a photo of her victim. After destroying the phone with her boot, she left the crime scene. The next morning, the police and news teams would be reporting on the incident on local television for everyone to know. Among them was a young man named Niko, living in a small apartment in a neighboring city named Hiko with his sister.

Clearly annoyed by the noise i stand up from my bed and turn it off. Standing there in the messy room that was the bedroom i had too share with my sister. I look at the beast of an armclock on the shelf the (wake master 3000). It makes noises that could even wake up dead people probaly. As i look at it ask myself why i have this military grade arm. Only too find the awnser when i looked back at the bed. It was a bed that had a lower part and upper part and there it was. My sister still sleeping in the upper part as if nothing happend.

  ,,How just howwwwww"

I thought to myself, and with that, I made my way to the small living room and threw myself on the sofa. Tomorrow, the new school year starts—what a shitty day. Seeking distraction, I turned on the TV to see a news segment.

**Breaking News:** A 36-year-old businessman was killed in a Sivigel business district alley. According to the police, the victim is believed to have had hefty amounts of debt. Police officials specute the crime could be linked to organized crime groups.

Wait, could it be? Ahh, come on, this happens every weekend there, and you're telling me it could be. Annoyed, I turned off the TV to see my sister walking into the room.

  “Morning, bro.”

  “Morning.”
