Hitomi Fujiwara, an undergraduate from a prestigious university in Tokyo, was sitting on the beach. Besides her was Ken Amakura, an undergraduate in the same university. They were friends, best friends… or may be something more. They weren’t yet sure about it either.
Hitomi tilted her head as she looked at Ken, who was staring at the azure sea.
"What made you say that, suddenly?"
"I remembered a series of events that happened when we were kids.", Ken turned his head facing Hitomi. "Why don't tell me you lost your memory too, Hitomi-san."

“N-not really.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got all those preserved in here.”, she said tapping her head. “even though I want to forget them…”
Ken looked at Hitomi, her bright eyes reflected himself in them. That wasn’t the only thing they reflected. The past, the messed up incidents they had experienced. All of that was in her eyes. Hitonmi saw the same thing in Ken’s eyes, as they were staring at each other. Just then a clod salty breeze blew past them.

A high school girl, her uniform stained with blood, was looking at some person. His eyes glowing blue with a sword in hand. Her expression was that of am utterly terrified girl.
The person in front of her drew his sword, which glowed in the darkness. He had no expression in his face. Not that she could see it either, as the whole atmosphere was dark. The girl trembled with fear.
Then the person lifted his sword;
