The two went in and as they entered, were greeted by a long road, made of crystal and nebula.
The area upon which the council resided: was a large asteroid suspended in space, present with an atmosphere of its own and at the end of the crystal road, lay a massive palace.
"Welcome to the council of starlight Xavier, you're going to love it here," Nathan said, stretching his arms out with much enthusiasm. As the two walked along the road, Xavier admired the Scenery.
"What are all those, bright connections, are they stars?" Xavier asked.
"Beautiful right? Those are universes Xavier, entire webs of them. We, are in a space between space, so we can look out, into various possibilities. This is it kid; this is what I really! wanted you to see," Nathan said, carrying a great air of excitement. As two entered, the palace was dark, empty, and quiet.
Xavier, who went in first, looked around and asked "Where is everybody?"
Nathan shut the doors behind, "Ah, kid. See, I'd love to explain, but you simply wouldn't understand. Do you know, just how many people are willing to kill, for the pair of eyes that you got there? Do you even know, the kinds of people searching for that power? gods Xavier, literal gods."
"gods would kill for it. That power shouldn't be in your hands Xavier. Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no. It should be in mine!" Nathan exclaimed and in a desperate attempt, two men jumped and secured Xavier, as there was a veil lifted that prevented any from using magic.
"You know, we could still be friend's kid; only that the relationship would be too one sided," Nathan said, satisfaction plagued his voice.
In reality, Xavier had been outside the palace the entire time, and what the two men saw and delt with, was nothing more than an illusion; a clever trick Xavier picked up, from watching one too many cartoons with ninjas in them. The illusion vanished, leaving Nathan utterly perplexed, falling victim to Xavier's treachery.
"What just happened? I thought you said no one would be able to use magic within the veil?" asked one of the men.
"Well, you see. The power from the eyes isn't necessarily magic; it's much more than that, but I don't think that's the reason why he was able to escape. No, he's been playing me from the moment I set foot in this space!" Nathan said, giving off slight chuckles.
Xavier blew off the entire palace with a strong pushing force from the palm of his hand, and left the debris suspended in air. "I gotta hand it to you kid, you're so full of surprises."
"Speaking of surprises, what ever happened to Jess? I thought you were supposed to secure the kid with him?" one of the men asked.
"He got a rude atomic dismantling by that brat over there. Seems like extracting the eyes from that kid's skull is going to prove more difficult a task than taking him down," Nathan explained.
"Bold of you to assume you'll be taking me down any time soon Nathan," Xavier said, starring at the men menacingly.
Xavier's appearance began to change: his weak, frail physique, filled up, and became muscular; his monk's robes slowly turned into a black suit, and then, with a thunder in his voice that shook the heavens, said, "Now watch; as the student, becomes the master!" Nathan trembled, but refused to show it.
"You have a plan here Nate?" the other man asked.
"I'll make it up as it goes," Nathan replied, trying to keep his composure. Nathan, conflicted with his own thoughts and emotions; did indeed fear that which he had created, but refused to accept his reality, and out of anger, burst with speed in an attempt to strike down Xavier with the weight of one solar mass.
Xavier put his hand out and recoiled it with double the force, completely shattering Nathans arm; the reinforced durability Nathan prepared for emergencies wasn't enough to handle that force and was fortunate enough to detach his arm before he got killed by it. The blast hurled Nathan quite the distance, enough for him to recover while the two men tried their luck.
Witnessing the events unfold: the two men concluded, that even Nathan himself had no plan for the task at hand; fighting Xavier would be suicidal, but were met with no other choice.
Both men leapt at him, twisting and turning in order to create an opening for an attack, but Xavier had tricks up his sleeve.
Xavier watched enough fights as a child to replicate the moves, and despite having no formal training; the eyes made him achieve a high level of combat prowess.

The three fought hand-to-hand; Xavier's skill made it look as though he had fought a thousand fights before, but in actuality, this had been his first.
One of the men sacrificed himself by taking a brutal beating in order to create the only opening they could foster.
With the time gained, the other man clinched his fists: forging a lightning bolt, he struck Xavier with it; a futile attempt, as Xavier kept the current running though him, and in turn, began to increase its intensity, until entire lightning storms raged.
Xavier concentrated all the energy from the storms into a single point, and localized the ions, "Did your mother ever tell you not to play with electricity?" Xavier said, and in a flash of light, shot it through the man's skull.
The other man: awestruck, could do nothing but watch. Then, in a fit of raging emotions; the man charged towards Xavier with random attacks. Xavier warped the distance between him and the man, and the man ended up falling to his knees, with his face well in the palm of Xavier's hand; Xavier then took him apart, at an atomic level.
"You sick bastard!" Nathan exclaimed, laughing. "You didn't even give a damn about those two, I'm the one you want, not them!"
"It's okay Nate, there exist, but infinite versions of those two; these were just unfortunate enough to be cursed with your presence," said Xavier.
Slowly realizing his dire situation, Nathan clinched his hands together and said, "It's a stretch, but I guess I have no other choice," spoken with slight agitation.
Light slowly began to seep from Nathan's mouth, letting out a scream; he released the light, sending a direct SOS notifying the grand priestess about the eye's whereabouts.
Xavier couldn't care much for what Nathan's plan was. Fixing his eyes on the atoms that made up Nathan's heart; Xavier began to fuse them together, imploding Nathan. After Xavier was through, he thought back to what that bright flash was all about.
As soon as Xavier came to a conclusion; a portal opened behind him, on the other side of the road, and through it, emerged a blond woman, accompanied by two other gods.
"Yes... that presence," the grand priestess closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath. "Indeed; those are the eyes, of infinity!" Exhaling, she took a look at Xavier, "That calm look, that violent, undying flame." Smiling and with much excitement, she exclaimed, "Truly! magnificent!"
"Uh, and who exactly are you, supposed to be?" Xavier rudely replied.
Baffled by Xavier's response, the grand priestess said, "Manner's child, is that what I get for admiring the magnificence of your eyes? A spoiled child like you needs to be taught a lesson!" and opened two books; to her left, the book of chaos and to her right, the book of harmony.
The woman took to the sky, and cast a cloud around the asteroid that made it difficult for Xavier to breath. The two gods: Hermes, and Heracles, charged at Xavier, and the three were caught in intense battle.
Hermes' quick feet and speed, often created openings for Hercules to exploit. With Xavier occupied by the gods; the grand priestess fabricated microscopic magical needles, that pierced Xavier's skin without him noticing.
Once all needles made their way into Xavier, they sent painful electric shocks each time that he moved, and attempted to counter the two god's attacks.
Xavier's movements drastically got slower, as he constantly dealt with the jarring pain coming from the needles. Xavier constantly got bombarded by strikes from the two gods, and his close combat abilities could only take him so far, seeing as he suffered a great deal of excruciating pain from the needles each time that he moved.
Xavier was backed into a corner, and couldn't think straight; everything, seemed to slow down.
The grand priestess saw this as an opportunity to finish Xavier off for good, and summoned the Queen Celestia, one of the five great summons' commanded by the book of chaos, and the strongest of the five.
This was a summon that the grand priestess would not use under any normal circumstance, but the person in question had the eyes of infinity, and she wasn't taking any chances.
Slowly emerging from the book, shrouded in nebula; the Queen Celestia emerged in all her glistening glory, with a crown forged completely out of eternal cosmic flames, a celestial angel, outshining all the stars around her.
One arrow shot, from Queen Celestia's bow, could take out a dozen galaxies; a fatal blow fit, for taking down a user of infinity.
The grand priestess was so close to victory she could taste it. The Queen Celestia: hovering on a cloud of nebula close to the asteroid housing the once council of enlightened, drew an arrow, and aimed it at a struggling Xavier.
It was in that moment, when Xavier stopped to think; it was as though, he was suspended in a time space of his own.
The only thing on Xavier's mind was the tranquility of a fair fight; one where despite the circumstance, despite the individual, or the number of people; the tide of battle would remain all the same, as though one were fighting a single individual of similar stature, and with that very thought in mind; Xavier's arms began to move all by themselves, and clinched together.
Slowly: Xavier began to forge a katana, an event that happened infinite times across vast different universes.
Each version of Xavier had the thought of creating the blade, and in turn, each version of him did. In doing so, Xavier created the blade of the end; a Katana, created through infinity, a blade, born from the collective.
A blade destined to cut through, and deflect any, and all Forms of Energy and matter. Whosoever wielded it, despite the individual's strength, height, age, size, or even magic prowess; would be gifted a fair fight advantage.
He who wielded the blade, would live to the end of time, and he who did, would only face death, once killed in a fair fight situation. Any attempt to commit suicide with the blade, or by any other means, would prove futile, as the blade would not allow it; forever preserving the prestige of the warrior who wielded it.
However, the curse can be passed on once a user has deemed an individual of their choosing to be worthy, but if you so happened to be another version of Xavier; the blade would turn black, and you'd be condemned to walk till the end of time.
In quick succession, Xavier sliced through Hermes right leg and Heracles steered clear of the arrows path. Xavier took two spins and after the first spin, threw the Katana in the air; Queen Celestia fired the arrow and as Xavier turned back around, caught the Katana and in an instant, sliced through the arrow.
