Niero and Alene are pying at the top of the climbing frame by themselves when some other kids come. It is their free time after studying. Some of these kids are older or close to their age. Niero and Alene ignore them, waiting for their first approach.

  – Hey! – The older boy yells at them. – If it isn’t the pair of orphans!

  Niero holds Alene’s hand, trying to calm her down.

  – Ignore them – Niero whispers, looking at her.– What are you doing pying here by yourselves? – The younger boy yells. – Has your father abandoned you already?

  Niero looks back at them with an angry expression.

  – What do you want!? – Niero asks.– You are pying during our free time! – The old girl says. – While you have every time of the day to py here, we have priority to do whatever we want now!– Whatever. – Alene says, looking away.

  The teacher appears near them, looking at the group of kids and then Niero and Alene.

  – Good morning, kids! – The teacher says to Niero and Alene.– Good morning, Vivi! – Niero says with a smile on his face. Alene doesn’t answer.– I see you like to py here a lot too – Victoria says as she gets closer. The group of kids is quiet now. – Is your father and mother okay?– Yeah! – Niero answers. – My mom is a lot better! My dad is talking with Livian right now. We hope she will be released this month!

  One of the kids ughs. The teacher stares at them for a while, and they stop, then turn back to Niero.

  – I hope everything is alright with both – Victoria smiles. – Oh, I brought something for you two! – She takes out of her pocket two metallic wolf paw trinkets. – I saw it at the market yesterday and thought that you two would like it. One for you and another for your sister

  Alene looks at it, and even she gets happy with it.

  – They are so cute! – Niero says as he takes his. Alene takes her trinket quietly. – How do we say it, Alene?– Thank you – Alene says while holding it.– Thank you, Aunt Vivi! – Niero thanks her too.– You two are so cute together! – Victoria giggles with an even bigger smile on her face. – I will be going, I need to look at the other students in the open field.

  Victoria goes to the open field near the pyground where the other kids are pying, leaving the group of kids with Niero and Alene.

  – Poor beggars! – The old girl says while holding the bars of the structure where Niero and Alene are. – You two need the mercy of the poor teacher to feel happy?– Ignore them – Niero whispers to Alene before letting Alene think about reacting and then turns back to the girl. – We will be leaving.

  Niero and Alene get down from the climbing frame, but as they are trying to leave the pyground, the group of kids stands in front of them.

  – Where do you think you are going? – The older girl smiles.– We are leaving. – Alene tries to pass through, but the old girl and boy push them back.– Why don’t we py together? – The old girl takes a step forward towards Alene. – It will be an easy and short game of tag!

  Niero stays in between, pushing Alene back.

  – Just let us pass. – He says to the old girl, but turns to Alene right after. – We don’t want to fight.

  Without him noticing, the old girl takes the Niero’s trinket. Alene sees it but doesn’t manage to get it. The old girl walks back, and the other kids stand between them.

  – The little puppy lost its toy! – The old girl teases while shaking the trinket. – Why don’t we py with you a little?– Give it back! – Alene tries to reach her, but the older kids push her to the ground.– Be careful! – The old girl makes fire in her hands and puts the trinket close to it. – If I get too bored, I may burn it!– Alene!

  Niero tries to protect his sister, but he becomes the target, as the old kids start to punch him and his sister. They are just protecting themselves, but Alene is reaching her limit.

  – Don’t hurt my sister! – Niero screams.– Stop barking! – The old girl kicks Niero’s face. – And what you two will do to us!? You two are just weaklings! You think you can just mark your territory like the dogs you are!?– Alene… – Niero calls, while trying to stay awake. The old girl holds his head to the ground.– Don’t worry about her. We are just putting the two dogs in your pce!– Please… Don’t kill them. – Ignores the old girl, staring at his sister, but it is too te.

  A scream echoes the room, and a red liquid covers the old girl and Niero.

  – What is this!? – The old girl screams.

  When she turns, Alene is on her knees with a leg of one of the kids in her mouth, separate from his body. The boy has fainted from the blood loss, while Alene is munching on it with her mouth covered by a purple mask in the shape of a wolf’s mouth. The other boy next to her takes a step back.

  – S- She is just an animal! – The old girl says without trying to hide the fact that she is also scared. – Get her!

  The boy next to Alene summons a staff, but as he tries to hit her with magic, she throws the leg at him, covering him in blood and losing focus on the magic, giving time to her to cut the boy's hand with her purple cws. She is turning into a werewolf covered in purple armor.

  The boy holds his severed hand with the other one. He falls on his but and stares at Alene, approaching him.

  – Don’t kill him! – Niero screams.

  Hesitating, wanting to finish this once and for all, but also with her brother’s pledge, she punches the boy in the face with enough strength to knock him out.

  Noticing an opportunity, the boy next to Niero runs away, but the old girl has another idea. She summons her staff and holds Niero against her, choking him.

  – You! – The girl screams to Alene. – I won’t let you get out of this unpunished! You are just two dogs trying to act like civilized people! You are just a monster! You and your family shouldn’t be here!

  Alene is getting even more mad, but she can’t rush towards them, she might try to hurt him.

  – What? Are you scared? – The girl ughs with her legs trembling. – Why don’t you try to kill me like you did with the others? Just because I have your coward brother!? You should kill him too! You should be the monster you are and kill everyone here!

  Alene focus, a mask appears covering her right eye and energy concentrates in Alene’s body. A purple aura covers her and the speakers around the facility ring an arm. She can see the target on the old girl’s head.

  – Void Energy Detected! Void Energy Detected!

  The girl gets confused and even more scared as the entrance to the pyground starts to close, sealing Alene with them.

  – W- What is this!? – The girl looks around and chokes Niero even tighter as she starts to walk back.

  Alene takes a single step forward, enough to make the girl get even more alerted and now creates a red fme near Niero’s face.

  – T- Try it! Try anything and I will kill your brother!

  Alene stops, now in position.

  Alene wants to kill her, but for Niero, she won’t. When the girl now has her back against the wall, Alene, in a single motion, moves her arm upwards, and when in the right angle, releases a projectile from her glove, like a bullet. The girl can’t react in time. It hits the wall next to her head with enough strength to break it and make the girl and Niero fly.

  – Void Leak! Void Leak!

  The speakers make another announcement, but without caring about it, Alene goes to Niero to see if he is okay. He just lost consciousness but is still breathing. After seeing that he is alright, Alene looks at her hand, now covered in purple armor with cws and sees her nose, now stretched like that of a wolf. As she is inspecting herself, worried and scared as she thinks it is the beginning of a transformation, a scream echoes from the speakers, the same Livian uses to contain Serafim. As the scream echoes even louder in her head, the armor and transformation start to disappear, leaving her unconscious on the ground with her brother.

  Livian and Victor run towards the pyground, passing through the chaos and curious surrounding the pce after the first siren. They see a kid crying with Victoria near one of the sealed entrances.

  – What happened? – Livian asks.– They killed my friends! – The boy screams.– Who? – Livian asks back.– Those dogs! The boy and girl! – The boy answers in the worst way possible.– Who are you calling that!? – Victor approaches the kid, but Livian stops him.– Wait.

  Everyone near her stops for a moment, she feels an energy spiking inside. Something is going to hit. As quick as she can, Livian expands her body and stays between everyone and the wall. A small but powerful projectile destroys the wall and hits her. It hurts but isn’t strong enough to pierce her.

  – Void Leak! Void Leak!

  The arm rings again.

  – What was that!? – Victor screams, worried.

  He runs towards the entrance of the wall, and he sees Alene near Niero, transformed with the purple armor, one simir to when Serafim lost control in the hotel. He stops, in shock, thinking her time came earlier than they all expected.

  The siren rings the scream. Victor stands up, closing his ears with his hands, and manages not to bck out. Everyone near the wall became unconscious, except for Victor and Livian.

  – I’m sorry. – Livian puts her hand on his shoulder. – She can’t stay out anymore.
