Chapter 26: Elves and old memories
As Corantin was no longer in a rush to reach the capital, he was in no rush this morning. He did it at a much more rexed pace than the one he had followed in the st few days. Furthermore, he had a feeling his expeditive departure would earn him an earful from the senior staff even though he had done all the paperwork awaiting his review before starting his preparations. He also took a few hours to train with the girls in the small training ground squeezed within the gardens.
After their midday meal, the trio departed for the sve market. There were still a few days before the big joint end of year action would be held. But Corantin, like most people, wanted to scout ahead of time and not get surprised by his perfect target appearing after spending his budget on lesser girls.
The sve merchants were all located in a rge building their guild had build to house the mass of humans their trade required. After entering the building, Corantin ignored the cages located near the entrance dedicated to borers. If he cannot fuck the girl, she will become more powerful much slower than his other girls. Sves who agreed to become their master pything were the most prized one. They would be kept in the heart of the market, where it was warmest, safest and evasions where less likely.
As they reached where the sex sves where kept, clothes became skimpier. The men and women wearing them also did not hesitate to showcase their thinly cd bodies to anyone showing the slightest hint of interest. Even the most clueless person would know that the more time they remained unsold, the worse they would be treated.
As they walked through the maze of cages Corantin was scanning all the women with his Master eyes to ascertain each one’s potential. But he suddenly came to a stop when he was stopped by a crowd circling a single cage.
Curious Corantin made his way to the front and see what was causing such a gathering in a market only showcasing the offering for the upcoming auction. Shoving aside some of the more persistent on-lookers, the lord finally reached the front of the crowd and managed to take a good look at the cage’s occupants.
To his surprise, the cell was occupied by a lone girl. This should not have gathered such a rge crowd, but…
“It’s really one of those!”
“They exist for real, I thought they were just stories.”
“How did somebody manage to get their hands on one. Nobody saw one leave their forest in years.”
There was nothing peculiar about the girl, that is until you looked at her head. When you did you would see two pointy ears, defining characteristic of the elusive elves. This expined the commotion. Elves, as far as it was known, were an all-female sub-specie of humanity. They were as beautiful as they were a rare sight. Elves all lived protected in the drifting forest, an impenetrable magical forest who caused all that entered it to get lost. Except for the elves who thrived in it.
Countless expeditions had set for the drifting forest expecting fame and fortune from bringing back elven prisoners and none of the participants were ever seen again. Records say some even tried to enter with elven prisoners in the past. But journals were found years ter, as if they had been ejected to warn anybody from trying ever again. They told of the elf prisoners, bound in yers of chains simply vanished in a blink, chains and shackles lying on the ground as if their wearer had never been there. Leaving the expedition stranded and left the writers of the journals to slowly fall into madness in the magical forest.
Corantin moved away disappointed and rejoined with his girls. As he reached them Emily asked what the commotion was about.
“It was a rare find. An elf, the first one seen outside their forest in years,” the lord replied.
“An elf? The fabled beauties? Are you going to had her to our family, master?” asked Vallerie.
“Don’t worry, elves are still humans. They are not otherworldly beauties. The both of you are in no way inferior to that girl. As for adding her to the family, it’s not going to happen,” reassured Corantin.
“Why, master, are elves weak?” inquired Emily after her master shut off her sister’s question.
“No, her aura showed sufficient strength. She would be an amazing addition. Everyone including me would fancy owning one. The issue is— elves are impossible to break,” Corantin took a brief pause.
He turned is head back towards the cage housing the elf.
“According to records of elves capture over the years, they never submit. To keep them docile, one had to break them completely, leaving an empty husk, a mindless doll behind,” the man expined dejected.
He had diligently read all records of elves capture in the kingdom’s long history. And to his disappointment never had a sound of mind elf stayed with her master. Obviously, a mindless doll was the complete opposite of what Corantin was looking for in his sves. As he resumed his search for the right girl, the young lord looked on the bright side of things: the elf would lower the biddings on all the other girls on offer at the auction.
For the rest of the day, Corantin walked around the pce. He scrutinized every woman he saw with his magic eyes. Unfortunately, none showed any signs of strength. He did not expect to find many warriors, but even amongst the civilians, none had potential. Possibly, this was Corantin having too much of a high standard, but with the two exceptional dies behind him as comparison, could you bme him?
Furthermore, he needed a peculiar personality. The girl would need to be bisexual and needed to seamlessly switch from masochistic when he dominated her and sadistic when handling disobedient sves. He still had his old friend in mind. He knew it was impossible to get his hands on her. But he could not get her cute twitching white furred cat ears and tail, nor her delicious looking almond colored skin out of mind.
Thinking about her again rekindled the fme of lust he always felt for her. When they were kids, her family cn, normally nomads’ mercenaries, had stay for a few years in the Auberron nds. Therefore, the two young’uns often pyed together. This was shortly after they both awaken to sexuality. So, they would often venture into town or the surroundings vilges to find young flowers to taste. But frustratingly, she never let her good pal taste her enticing body. Corantin though for a while she was not interested in men. This supposition fell apart when he spied her setting off on her own to seduce boys. She simply refused to be the submissive partner in a retionship, fiddle as it may be.
