“Go to the arcade now!”
It was kind of creepy but my friends actually found it quite interesting and decided to go to the arcade. I was shocked after hearing their silly plans and said: “no” but when my friend insisted I gave in. There we found another note at our usual spot. It said:
“Try the game which is at the corner of the arcade.”
We found no harm in playing a silly little game so we went over to play it. At first, it was completely normal and we started to play the game, suddenly the game started to glitch like crazy. There were black lines on the screen, after that everything went black. When we woke up, we didn’t remember anything after the glitching, we looked around and realized that we were in the same game that we were playing. We were horrified and started to wait for someone to say it is a prank but to our horror we were actually stuck in the game, suddenly a huge screen came In front of us and a man with a weird looking mask welcomed us. He told
us to calm down and we will return home if we complete the give tasks which were:
- FIND WARM CLOTHES
- FIND A CAVE TO STAY
- GO THROUGH THE ICE STORM
- FIND FOOD
We thought we were never going to get out but we took a deep breath and started to look for the things. We began to hunt for food and clothes. We sticked together because we didn’t know the way around. I saw a basket in the snow and began to dug with my bare hands and found a whole lot of food. This gave a little hope, after that we looked for other things for hours but couldn’t find anything. We were edge of giving up but we saw a something a few miles away from us so we went towards it and found the cave. I jumped in jog because I couldn’t hold my excitement to finally find another thing after hours of hard work. As we went inside there were clothes in it as well, I sighed in relieve because I thought we might die from cold. We quickly wore the warm and cozy clothes. We were really tired so we decided to take a nap.

After a few hours, we all woke up and asked the masked man for the restroom and thankfully we didn’t have to find it. We all went turn by turn and got ready for our next task, which was to go through the ice storm which was the hardest one and the last one. We didn’t have anything to do so we decided to play. Abby pushed me in the snow. I laughed and got up and pushed her in return. She fell on something which was shaped like a button, suddenly an alarm went off and started to say ice storm repeatedly, we got scared and instantly went inside our cave, suddenly some fog like air started to appear and we knew it was not a good sign. As the storm began, we got frightened but out of nowhere a girl and a boy, whom looked like our age joined us. We were confused to see them and asked them that who were they, they told us that their name was Mila and Noah. They told us that they got stuck in the game last year because they couldn’t complete the ice storm task. After hearing this, chills went down my spine and I started to panic. Abby grabbed me and started to calm me down, after a while I felt a little better. After that, the cave started to move due to extreme wind and we were horrified by the thought that it might blow away in the storm or might even fall upon us.
We knew that the cave was getting weaker and weaker by each second and we didn’t know what to do but then Jacob told:
“If u want to sleep now then you’re going to sleep forever”
Then I realized that he was write so I gripped the rock with all of my strength and so did the others.
The alarm went off again saying ice storm ended repeatedly and after hearing these words whom I was dying to hear, I threw myself on the ice and closed my eyes for a second but something was waiting for me.
