Natty’s so called theory wasn’t wrong. In reality, it was one hundred percent correct, every single bit of it.
And that was a thought that kept Beryl awake ever since she found out about the retionship between her god and Verita.
It had been her first day at the godly pace. Of course, Beryl had been very excited about the whole situation, unlike her rebel co-future deities.
The god of time, the one who chose her, had given her a brief tour of the pce and then let Beryl explore herself.
At first Beryl got lost. There were simply too many rooms and hallways, each one looking almost identical. In the end she ended up in a garden, which was located in the middle of the pace.
And then she saw the most horrific thing she had ever seen. Well, at first she didn’t think much of it until she heard the so called theory.
The image before her was the following: Verita and the god being all lovey-dovey. At first Beryl wanted to vomit. Which, in her opinion, was the only natural reaction to any sort of romantic interaction.
Beryl chose to ignore it until a couple of days ter when she heard two other new gods talking about that theory. And then Beryl realized that if Verita and the god of time were a thing, then she and the future deity of truth would surely be a thing as well.
Eversince she found out about it, the thought of having to be in a retionship with someone horrified her.
Yet as soon as she found out that Verita had chosen Cais as her successor, Beryl couldn’t stop thinking about her.
What was Cais like? Was she like Verita? Was she a calm person? Would Beryl eventually fall for her??
These were the thoughts that pgued her mind that night. And Beryl was sick and tired of them. Maybe Cais wouldn’t even join, she told herself.
Yet she hoped that maybe Cais would change her mind so that they wouldn’t have to fight each other.
Beryl stood up in bed and shook her head. She absolutely had to find this Cais girl. That meant she had to somehow find the rebellion headquarters. But there was no use, because the pce was hidden somewhere not even time could reach.
The future goddess of time had limited powers herself. She wanted to ask the current god, but she felt as if that wouldn’t solve a thing.
Surly the older gods must’ve tried to find the headquarters, right?

Cais and Natty didn’t sleep the whole night, because they were up thinking about all sorts of pns. Which is why they looked like zombies in the morning.
“What’s wrong with the both of you?” Vincent interrogated them.
Cais yawned. Natty stared at her then yawned too, causing Vincent to have the same reaction.
“We talked about pns the whole night” Natty expined and took a gss off a shelf “I physically cannot do this anymore.”
“Just a small problem I’d like to address” Vincent pointed towards the fridge “We’re out of food.”
“But I distinctly remember that st night there had been at least some food left” Cais scolded him.
“Ate it all for breakfast” Vincent shrugged “Rock paper scissors for who goes out to buy some?”
“I went st time” Natty informed them “And we’re technically in another town, so Cais doesn’t know her way around. In short, it’s your turn.”
Vincent frowned and sat down.
“I’m not moving” he said.
Truth be told, Vincent had a love-hate retionship with the outside world. He hated going to the door, opening it and actually getting out. But after he arrived outside, Vincent was a completely different person. As in, he would suddenly turn extroverted.
“Oh yes you are” Natty argued “I’m writing you a list.”
“Cais, does this seem fair to you?”
“I mean…yes” Cais shrugged.
And so, Vincent went out shopping. Natty had indeed written him a looong list.
The house in which the headquarters was located, was a quite special building. As previously mentioned, it was hidden from time and space and only avaible to those who knew the password.
Vincent basically randomly appeared in the middle of the street. He looked right, then left. The street was full with people. So Vincent pced his hands in his pockets and went ahead in search of the nearest supermarket.

Beryl headed to the mortal realm. She had borrowed a special pocket watch from the god of time, which was supposed to reveal anomalies in the world.
Which should’ve been able to help her locate the three.
Beryl, conveniently, located an anomaly right in the town where Vincent was busy shopping.
She stopped in the middle of the street and poked the watch a few times, because the clock hands were spinning like crazy.
“Useless” was all Beryl said before throwing the watch on the ground.
She looked up to the sky and let out a long sigh. She was really giving up the search.
“Troubles?”
Beryl flinched, then turned around to see who the person behind her was.
She had seen the guy before, at the grand pace. Everyone, except him, was wearing fancy clothes whenever they had a meeting. That’s what made him stand out, that and his white bangs that didn’t match the rest of his bck hair.
Today he had chosen to braid it for once and keep it decent looking, unlike the times where he would just straight up not brush it.
With bright blue eyes, he was now staring into Beryl’s soul.
“So?” he asked.
“So what?”
“What troubles you?” he insisted.
“You being here” Beryl snapped at him “I’ve only ever seen you at meetings. Why are you here?”
The boy made a sad face, did a dramatic pose (in the middle of the street, Beryl was embarrassed) and replied:
“We’re colleagues, what’s so wrong with saying hi and asking what’s wrong? Your facial expression tells me that you’re about to kill someone.”
“I’m off to find someone” Beryl corrected him.
“Ohh and who are ya looking for?”
Realizing her mistake, Beryl quickly closed her mouth before replying.
“Oh c’mon, you were about to spill everything!” her argued “What’s so secret about this?”
Beryl didn’t even know his name! And how was she supposed to tell him that she was looking for her future, possible girlfriend. And that said girlfriend was about to rebel against everyone!
“Well I’ll find out about what you’re doing…eventually.”
“Dude” Beryl raised her voice “I don’t know what your deal is. I don’t know why you’re here. But go away so I can search in peace.”
He was left dumbfounded for a brief moment, but then smirked, shrugged and said:
“Well I guess you don’t need the one chosen by the god of space to help you find what you’re looking for.”
Beryl was left speechless. She didn’t know about which god had chosen him! And of course she would need him, or more like, his power, to find Cais!
“Well?” he said “If you really don’t need me, then I’ll leave…”
“Okay fine, listen” Beryl rolled her eyes “You can help me….”
“Great!” he excitedly replied “I’m Soleil by the way!” he grabbed her hand and shook it.
“Let me finish!” Beryl full on yelled this time.
Soleil closed his mouth in a matter of seconds.
“I’m looking for the rebellion headquarters” she expined “I need to find those three.”
Beryl chose to tell this version of the story so he wouldn’t suspect a thing. What she didn’t know was that Soleil actually approached her with a goal in mind. As any other character, Soleil had his own goal and that was to also find one of the rebels.
“Great” he replied “I’ll help. First, I located an abnormality in space, somewhere around here.”
“I found one in time” Beryl announced “We should work together to pinpoint the exact location.”
“And then?” Soleil raised a brow “I don’t think it’s going to be that simple.”
Just then, Vincent, carrying the biggest shopping bag ever, walked past them. And even though they didn’t know him, they sensed god energy.
Beryl and Soleil stared at each other.
“Found the key to solving this whole situation” Soleil grinned.
