Chapter 10: I didn't eat vinegar at all

  Jiang Ruoxi looked at him and said, "Consider me unlucky." As she spoke, she reluctantly put the shirt on him, her slender fingertips occasionally touching his firm skin. She narrowed her eyes and hastily buttoned up his shirt, her fingers trembling slightly, and finally managed to get the buttons done.

  "Alright." With that said, she quickly walked into the bathroom and locked the door in a split second.

  Jiang Ruoxi stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom, patted her face with both hands, and washed her face at the fastest speed. When she walked out of the bathroom, she found that Leng Yan had already changed his clothes and was sitting on the sofa.

  Jiang Ruoxi took out a set of light yellow cheongsam from the closet and then walked into the bathroom to change.

  "Hey, aren't you going downstairs yet?" Jiang Ruoxi stood in front of Leng Yun, asking him. To be honest, she was still a bit scared in this unfamiliar home.

  Leng Yun put down the financial magazine in his hand, "Let's go!"

  Jiang Ruoxi picked up the school bag on the sofa and pulled back Leng Yan, who was about to walk out of the door, "Leng...Yan."

  Leng Yun turned his head and looked at her, "What's wrong?"

  "I'm almost late for school, you'll keep your word, right?" Jiang Ruoxi asked in a low voice.

  "Did I say that what I said doesn't count?" Leng Yun suddenly turned around, pulled Jiang Ruoxi's hand and walked downstairs.

  Leng Jingcheng and Wang Xiuqin were sitting on the sofa in the living room when they saw the two of them coming downstairs.

  "Ruoxi, why didn't you get up earlier? Let's wait for your father and mother to eat together, it's not okay." Wang Xiuzhen looked at the two of them holding hands, and she was extremely unhappy in her heart.

  Jiang Ruoxi struggled free from Leng Yun's grasp of her hand, "Dad, Mom, next time I'll be careful."

  Leng Jing put down the newspaper in his hand, "Never mind, go eat quickly!"

  "Dad, Mom, if we don't hurry up and go to school, we'll be late. Let's just skip breakfast today." Han Ye naturally knew that Jiang Ruoxi had tightly grasped his hand in anxiety.

  After finishing speaking, Leng Yun pulled Ruo Xue out of the great hall.

  "Alright, that's enough nagging for one morning." Leng Jingcheng forcefully threw down the newspaper he was holding, stood up with his cane and walked towards the dining hall.

  Jiang Ruoxi sat in the cold car, and the car drove out of the villa, along the highway towards the city center. Looking at the scenery flying by outside the window, she glanced at the time, "Can you drive a bit faster?"

  Leng Yun was not in a hurry at all, "Don't worry, since I've promised you, I won't be late."

  "It's easy for you to say, but it's not like you're in a hurry to go to school." Jiang Ruoxi muttered under her breath.

  The car stopped on time at the entrance of Huahai City Music Academy. Jiang Ruoxi said "thank you" as soon as the car stopped, then got out and ran quickly into the school, probably because class was about to start. There weren't many people at the school gate.

  Start the car and head to the company.

  Jiang Ruoxi was walking in the campus, it had been a long time since she came here, but everything was still the same. At this moment, she heard someone calling her from behind.

  "Wait for me, Ru Xi." Lin Han hastily ran forward, without caring about her elegant lady image at all.

  "Hanhan." Jiang Ruoxi stopped in her tracks and waited for her.

  Lin Han gave her a big hug as soon as she came forward, "Ruo Xi, why did you go out for so long this time? I almost died of worry."

  Jiang Ruoxi smiled and said, "Aren't I back now?"

  "It's a long story, let's talk about it later, we have class now." Jiang Ruoxi pulled up Lin Han's hand.

  "Oh, you must confess honestly!" Lin Han looked at her for a moment before they both headed towards the classroom.

  Leng Yun drove to the company and as soon as he entered the office, Ye Zilin walked in with a cup of coffee in her hand. "Yun, your favorite coffee."

  Leng Yun glanced at Ye Zilin, "Why did you come to the company so early?"

  Ye Zilin walked up to his side, her arms lightly encircling his neck, "I'll make you a cup of coffee!"

  "I just love drinking the coffee you brew." Leng Yun picked up the cup of coffee in front of him and took a small sip.

  "Alright! I'll cook it for you to drink for the rest of your life!" Ye Zilin said with a smile.

  Leng Yun pulled her onto his lap, "Hm,"

  "But will your chairman's wife make coffee for you?" Ye Zilin asked with a sour tone.

  "What's with the question? Are you jealous?" Leng Yun retorted back at her.

  Ye Zilin stood up, "I didn't eat vinegar at all! I don't have this qualification, she is your wife, and I am nothing."

  "How can you say that again? Don't you understand my intentions?" Leng Yun said calmly, sipping his coffee.

  "Alright, I know. Next time I won't say anything," Ye Zilin pouted.

  Leng Yun stood up, stroking her hair, "This is good."

  At this time, a knock at the door was heard. Han Leng sat back in front of his desk, and Ye Zilin picked up her notebook and stood in front of the desk.

  "Come in." said coldly.

  The office door was pushed open and Uncle Gui walked in, "Young Master."

  "Assistant Ye, today's schedule has been sent to my email. If there's nothing else, I'll head out first!" said Leng Yan to Ye Zilin.

  "Yes, President," then Chaogui Shu slightly nodded and walked out of the office.

  "Master, the old master has instructed that you and the young mistress have lunch together at noon. I don't know which restaurant Master would like to dine in."

  Leng Yun raised his head and took a glance at the person standing in front of him. "Uncle Gui, I have an engagement at noon,"

  "But Master has given his orders." Gu Shu's face was filled with difficulty.

  "Go back and tell Dad that I have an engagement at noon, I think he will understand. If Yuxi doesn't have class in the afternoon, I'll go pick her up." Leng Yan said as he lowered his head to look at the documents on his office desk.

  Uncle Gui left his office after a few seconds.

  Leng Yun raised his head and took a glance at the closed office door, then lowered his head again to look at the documents on his desk.

  Not long after, the office door was opened again. He looked up at the two people who walked in and continued to work with his head down.

  "Hey big brother, let's take a look at you, so unwelcoming?" Pang Jie sat down on the sofa with a smile, his legs casually propped up on the coffee table.

  Another man in a black suit sat down on another sofa with an icy demeanor.

  Before long, the secretary walked in and brought two cups of coffee. "Secretary Li, it's been a while since we last met, you look much prettier now!" Pang Jie didn't forget to tease even the secretary who brought the coffee.

  Secretary Li smiled and said, "General Pang, you're joking." Then he left the office.

  Leng Yun finally lifted his head and walked over to sit down on the single sofa, "You seem to have a lot of free time."
