As he made it back into his pce he went to the refrigerator and noticed that Kat had actually filled up the fridge. He made several lunchmeat sandwiches before he opened up the suitcase and pulled out the massive shot. It looked like an EpiPen except it had Evo-Shot in bold letters in front of it. He read the instructions that were in the suitcase and it told him to inject it in his neck.He pced it against his neck and injected it.His body became a ball of pain as colpsed on the ground as his supersuit AI started popping up notificationsEvolite Strain DetectedPower 2 UnlockedBody Kinesis - Your body is surrounded by an invisible field of energy that only you can feel unless you want others to feel it. This energy is harmless and undetectable outside of psionic detection powers. You strengthen this energy to reduce damage you take and can use this energy to carry yourself simuting Flight. Using this power over long periods does drain your stamina. 3% Proficiency. As the pain slowly died down he took a second to catch his breath as he slowly stood up and he could feel it faintly. It was almost like glitter on his skin but he ignored it as he slowly sat down. “Well that hurts. With only 3% Proficiency it is useless unless I really spend some time practicing it. I got 36 grand so I can cover rent. I should probably let my heat die down before I move on the Allstars anyway. I will practice for a month straight and see how good I can control this power.“
Train he did, with a single-minded focus that consumed the entire month with determination and sweat. He began cautiously, experimenting with the limits of this new and mysterious power, Body Kinesis. Like a child testing the depth of unknown waters, he started by simply extending his arm and using the aura to hold his arm from falling. Each attempt drained him until he was spent, limbs like lead. But he was relentless. Before long, he could extend the energy and keep his hand lifted longer than before. By first week's end saw him bravely pushing himself to work on each arm and leg, a feat that seemed impossible when he first injected the Evo-Shot. His growing strength made him ambitious, and soon he tackled the challenge of lifting all his limbs at once. The second week brought with it new revetions when he found himself levitating, floating inches above the ground, supporting his own weight with an ease that felt more natural each day. By the end of it, his Body Kinesis reached 15% proficiency, and he was already daring to hover in pce.
Moving into the third week, he felt a new sense of burgeoning confidence. His control had improved, stamina less of a barrier. He was able to maintain a delicate suspension in midair without faltering, the field of energy around him as tangible to him as the pulse of his heartbeat. He was progressing rapidly and experimented with fleeting bursts of flight within the confines of his apartment. At first, like an eager bird leaving the nest for the first time, his movements were awkward and halting. But persistence paid off. It wasn't until the fourth week when he truly unlocked the potential of this strange ability. He was flying around his apartment in tight circles, each p smoother and quicker, reaching speeds of about 5 mph. It was exhirating, a thrill that spurred him on to push his limitations even further.
His ambition soon outgrew the confines of his small apartment. With increasing skill and speed, he soared through the skies above the city, skillfully maneuvering around the towering buildings and bustling streets of Sin City. As he leapt from a balcony he zipped through the urban ndscape like a silent, precise engine. His practice was like a melody, becoming smoother with each new attempt. By the end of the week, he achieved an impressive speed of 30 mph, zipping across the city without relying on subways or buses, steering clear of crowds and leaving the chaos of city sidewalks far below.Body Kinesis - 26% Proficiency “30 mph is actually useful in combat. I think its fine to pay this Jenny and her thugs a visit.” As he continued to train he had pushed his proficiency with Peak Superhuman body to 71% and he could really feel the difference. He was much more fluid and able to fight like a Superhuman and not a human anymore. He decided to scope out the pce disguising himself as a handyman with a dder to try and repair leaks and a few light bulbs. He got to the door to what he imagined was the basement before he saw two women dressed in Exosuits. Both looked to be Supers of some kind but he did not think they were the straight up physical type and the Exosuits were their to cover that weakness. After a few more weeks passed he had pushed his speed up to 90 mph and his proficiency up to 36%. He still did not know how to use it to reduce damage but he would find out on the fly he supposed. He only had one pn which was to fly straight at them at 90+ Mph into the door and smash and grab maybe fight Jenny if he had to.If he continued to disrupt the Allstars money flow they would all come out and he would deal with them individually. After he felt confident that he could really test the rotation he learned the day in which they picked up the money and decided to come the day before. “Let’s get paid.”
