Somewhere in a vast space full of stars, a woman sat in the empty space. Ethereal and radiant, with glowing skin, shimmering white hair and eyes that sparkled like stars.
Her presence causing a hum with power in the empty space, like an electric current or a gentle breeze that carries the scent of wildflowers, the ocean, and the ancient forests. Her beauty was truly breath taking, even gods wouldn't be able to resist her charm.
At this moment, she opened her eyes. Showing a hint of excitement and longing in her eyes while maintaining a graceful, and elegant demeanor.
At this moment, goddess Luna, the goddess of the moon stood up and fixed her dress and hair up as if she was expecting an important guest.
Moments ter, a ray of light could be seen from afar fshing through the stars heading straight for her.
When it got close, she lifted her hand and stopped it, injecting some of her divine power into the light, it began taking the form of a soul.
A few seconds ter, a soul with the appearance of Non took form. Opening his eyes, he looked around in surprise. His eyes scanning his surroundings before nding on the extremely beautiful figure in front of him.
As soon as their eyes met, he was speechless. He felt as if he had met the woman in front of him before but had no recollection of it in his memory.
Luna also didn't say anything, just quietly stared back at him. After recovering from his shock, he finally spoke up to break the silence.
"This... Am I in hell?" Non asked indifferently showing no fear despite Luna's oppressive presence.
"Does this look like hell to you." Luna replied in her soft captivating voice.
"...Then am I in heaven?" Non asked with a puzzled expression.
"Pfft..." Luna couldn't hold back her ughter and let out a light ugh before quickly holding herself back and responding, "No. This is not hell nor heaven; it's my personal domain."
"Personal domain?" Non fell into deep thought upon hearing this. Luna stared at him and waited patiently, not saying anything.
After a few minutes of pondering and looking around the space. Non came back to his senses and looked at the figure in front of him.
She was staring at him all this time with an amused expression on her face, as if waiting for him to figure something out.
"Are you a god?" Non suddenly spoke.
"Oh? I'm impressed you figured it out so soon. Seems like being the infamous 'Executioner' takes more than just strength and skill. You also have brains, seems like you are indeed the person I've been waiting for."
Non was stunned upon hearing this, "What do you mean?" He asked.
"My name is Luna, goddess of the moon. I'm the only surviving god in this world after the war between the Gods and Devils one hundred thousand years ago..." Luna said with a solemn expression, pausing before continuing.
"Due to the deaths of the other gods, this world has fallen into chaos, with demons and corrupt people running amok. There's only so much I can do alone, and the heroes I appointed are mostly useless and selfish people looking to fulfil their own greed and desires."
Non listened quietly, he seemed to understand how the goddess in front of him felt since no matter how many scum people he killed in his previous life. There seemed to be no end to them.
"So, have you summoned me to be a hero? If that's the case, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a righteous or good person." Non suddenly spoke up.
"No. This world already has enough useless heroes, what it needs is an executioner. Someone ruthless and unyielding, someone who delivers a fitting punishment without fear, unrestrained by rules or ws but bound by morals. That person is you." Luna said as she pointed at Non.
Hearing all this, Non was surprised and felt embarrassed. But his face still remained expressionless. His ears that had turned red the moment he id his eyes on Luna now turned even redder.
"Ehem..." He cleared his throat as Luna let out a light ugh looking at him.
"So, if I'm correct you want me to clean up this world for you?"
"Yes." Luna replied with a mocking but charming smile, making Non feel even more flustered.
"I'll give you a new life and a new body for you to use. All you have to do is get rid of the scum of the world and unite the humans and demon kin.
This is a world of magic, so anything is possible, so what do you say?"
"I accept." Non agreed without hesitation.
"Oh? That was quick. Aren't you suspicious of my ulterior motives?" Luna asked.
"Whether you have ulterior motives or not doesn't matter to me. A new life in a new world is much more interesting for me to pass up, even if you pn to use me as your toy." Non responded with a solemn expression.
Luna silently stared at him, her face slowly beaming into a mischievous smile that betrayed her elegant demeanor.
"Toy, you say... That's not a bad idea at all; however, I prefer women over men." She muttered to herself in a low voice.
"Huh? Did you say something?" Non couldn't make out was she was muttering.
"Ah! It's nothing, now come and accept this goddess's grace." Luna opened her arms and beckoned him to come with a mocking smile.
"...Is that really necessary?" Non said looking at her suspiciously, this woman was way too friendly towards him especially considering she was a goddess.
Although kind and overly friendly gods did exist in mythology, her demeanor and appearance indicated she was a cold beauty instead, he even felt like her smile was something she would only reveal to him.
"Come on now my arms are getting tired." Luna interrupted his thoughts.
He stepped forward into her embrace with a sigh. Hugging the person in front of her, Luna began to emit a divine light that enveloped both of them before whispering something to Non's ear.
"I'm happy to have you back. However, after living for so long as a man, you might find your new body troublesome." Luna whispered in his ear as she smiled mischievously. Non, enveloped by the blinding light couldn't hear well or make out what she was saying.
After that, the blinding light shined even brighter, and Non lost consciousness.
