Chapter 1: The Awakening

Dark clouds loomed overhead. Amid the ruins of silence, a breeze stirred as if the world itself was holding its breath. Then—eyes opened. A young boy lay on the cold stone ground. His name... was Aronyo.

His head throbbed. His chest pounded. Cold sweat soaked his body. All around him were ancient stone statues, moss-covered stairs, and twisted roots breaking through the cracked marble. It felt like a forgotten graveyard.

  He tried to remember.

The riverbank—that's the last thing he could recall. A sudden storm. Darkness swallowing the sky. And then… nothing. As if someone had torn memories straight out of his mind.

"Where... am I?" he whispered to himself.

Just then, a strange metallic scent filled the air. But it wasn’t just metal—there was a hint of magic in it.

In front of him, a faint circle of light appeared, hovering mid-air. From within it emerged a glowing sigil—round like the moon, carved with cloud-like patterns.

  “Cloud Sigil…”

A voice echoed in his mind.

“You are the last bearer, Aronyo.”

Startled, he turned around—and saw her.

A girl stood in the shadows. Her golden hair shimmered, and her eyes were deep as the ocean. Her name was Lina.

“Who are you?” Aronyo asked, his voice trembling.

  She stepped closer.

“The kingdom you’ve forgotten is still waiting for you. Firaes still remembers your name.”

  He stood frozen.

Hundreds of questions whirled inside his head, but no answers came.

  Lina reached out her hand.

“Come. I will show you the truth. But beware—truth is not always beautiful.”

  Suddenly, the sky rumbled.

A sharp sound cracked the air.

Lightning struck somewhere far off, and the earth shook beneath his feet. The air grew heavier.

“They are awakening, Aronyo,” Lina said with urgency. “Your awakening was the signal. Time is short. The war has already begun.”

Aronyo turned to the ruins ahead—unfamiliar, terrifying, yet somehow… familiar.

  This world wasn’t his.

  This girl was a stranger.

But the sigil… that feeling in his chest… It had been his, long ago.

  He silently took Lina’s hand.

In an instant, images flooded his mind—

  A burning palace.

A floating city built among the clouds.

  A shadowy figure sitting on a throne…

And those eyes. Eyes just like his.

  Firaes.

  A forgotten kingdom.

  A lost heir.

And so began… a journey beyond destiny.
