I groaned, not sure if I was alive or dead. My head felt like someone had used a sledgehammer on it, so I decided that I was alive. I slowly opened my eyes, seeing the table above me nearly buckling with the roof on top of it. I sat up and looked around. I was entirely encased in rocks. I went back to sleep. When I finally woke up again, I was much more lucid. I pushed the rocks to my left away, the table creaking ominously. I finally pushed enough rocks aside to stand up. “What the…” I was surrounded by forest. The restaurant used to be surrounded by asphalt. I was tempted to go back to sleep and see if it was still there later, but I decided to look for the blue screens first. I noticed there was a tiny blue square in the corner of my eye, and it suddenly grew larger. I stumbled backwards, tripping over a piece of stone.

Merging Worlds…
Ratio: 1 foot = 50 miles
Merging worlds? What on Earth! Also, if I read that right, if I was a foot away from something, it will now be 50 miles away. It must separate the earth in chunks though, because otherwise I would be in a bunch of different pieces. Wait, I was 20 feet away from Josh, am I 1,000 miles away?!?! My frantic thoughts were interrupted by a deep growling emanating from behind me. I spun around, seeing a huge wolf appear from within the trees. I stood there, petrified, until the wolf broke into a run towards me. I sprinted away, muscles screaming. I heard the wolf panting behind me, prompting me to run even faster. A rock caught my foot, sending me sprawling. The wolf tripped over me, slamming into a tree at full sprint. It whined, and then turned back to me with a deadly look in its eyes. I grabbed a rock, smashing the wolf in the side of its head as it lunged. Undeterred, the wolf lunged again. This time, I caught it, slamming it to the ground. I smashed the rock down for the last time. I felt a surge of energy, flowing through my body like a raging flood. It fortified my bones and absorbed deep into my muscles. I stood, feeling sheer power the likes of which I had never seen. I then realized I was encircled by more wolves. I sank down into a fighting stance, and the wolves behind me lunged towards my hamstrings. I turned, sending two punches at their faces. They were thrown backwards, staggering around on shaky limbs. I stared in astonishment at my hands, barely recovering in time to kick a wolf in the throat. I delivered a final punch to each wolf, finishing them off. The surge of energy was far more intense this time, sending me to my knees with the force of it.

Was it saying that I was not wise? I mean, true, but still. Not very nice of it. Anyway, I focused on the skill, and another screen popped up.
Unarmed Combat
The most basic of survival skills, provides a slight increase to combat capability.
Identify
Provides race, level, and description.
Okay, so, basic descriptions. Not very helpful. I was broken out of my musings by my stomach. I wonder if wolf tastes good? Also, how am I supposed to start a fire? After four hours of trying to start a fire, I finally gave up. I lied down for the night, ignoring my growling stomach, until a bear came. The moment I saw it, yet another screen popped up.
Bear, Level 6
It's just a bear.
That was a terrible description. After my experiences with wolves, I just ran towards it. I raised my hand to strike it, and immediately got hit in the chest. I flew backwards into a tree, where I heard a district snap from my ribcage. I slid onto the ground and curled into a fetal position, gasping in pain. The bear loomed over me, and I barely rolled out of the way in time to dodge its massive paw. I jumped up while adrenaline took the pain away, slamming a punch into the bear's jaw. It growled and snapped at my hand, missing by a millimeter. I leaped onto its back, putting it into a headlock. The bear tried to shake me off, but I managed to hold on. It rolled over, finally getting out of the headlock, before raising its paw to finish me. Looking at the paw, my certain death, I just got so mad. I was going to die in the middle of nowhere, with absolutely nothing to mark my grave. And to a dumb animal, no less. I decided to try and punch it again, just to go down kicking. As I punched, something just felt different. It felt more powerful, very powerful. As he punched the bear, the bear was thrown to the side, completely dead.
