Chapter 6

Harry had always loved the idea of adventure, and after months of indulgence and experimentation in the Fire Capital, he decided it was time for a change. The call of the sea beckoned him—a vast, open expanse of water and endless mysteries waiting to be uncovered. The coastal regions and isnds offered the perfect setting for exploration, discovery, and, most importantly, the honing of his newest power.

The strange evolution of his abilities had come unexpectedly. One day, during a particurly intense training session inside his magical trunk, his eyes had shifted, transforming into something entirely different. His reflection in a polished silver mirror revealed eyes unlike anything he’d ever seen. They were no longer normal but still striking emerald green, rippled with concentric rings that seemed to draw in everything around them. It was a pair of eyes he had only read about in the memories he’d extracted from shinobi minds—the legendary Rinnegan.

Harry didn’t fully understand its capabilities yet, but he knew it was a power few in the shinobi world had ever heard of. However, the color of his Rinnegan was an anomaly, distinct from the pale vender he’d learned in the memories of others. His emerald Rinnegan pulsed with an otherworldly energy, and even without fully knowing its abilities, he could sense its immense potential.

The reactions of others to his new eyes were… less than ideal. The first time he had accidentally revealed them to someone in the Fire Capital, the person had stumbled back in terror, their face pale and voice trembling. It was clear that the Rinnegan, even in its unique form, struck fear into those who saw it. To avoid unwanted attention, Harry enchanted a pair of gsses with a subtle masking spell, ensuring that his eyes appeared perfectly ordinary to anyone who looked at him.

With his new disguise in pce, Harry set his sights on the sea. He had heard tales of remote isnds rich in chakra-based traditions, ancient ruins that predated the modern shinobi world, and dangerous creatures lurking in the deep. These were the pces he needed to visit, not only to explore the unknown but to master the power of his Rinnegan. He suspected that its abilities—whatever they might be—would reveal themselves gradually as he pushed its limits.

As he prepared for his journey, Harry packed his magical trunk with everything he might need. His b was fully stocked, his training grounds ready for experimentation, and his collection of scrolls, potions, and tools ensured that he could continue his work no matter where he went. Before leaving, he took one st look at the Fire Capital from his mansion’s balcony, feeling a strange mix of nostalgia and excitement.

“Time to see what the world has in store,” he muttered to himself, a small smirk pying on his lips.

With that, he set off toward the coast, his gsses firmly in pce, ready to uncover the secrets of the sea and the mysteries of the emerald Rinnegan that now defined him.

Harry stood on the sandy shores of the remote isnd, his eyes scanning the endless expanse of ocean that surrounded him. The crash nding had been rough, but he wasn’t one to dwell on inconvenience. This isoted paradise, untouched by the chaos of the shinobi world, was exactly what he needed—a pce where he could train, reflect, and try to forget the memories of Mikoto that lingered like a shadow over his thoughts.

He knew, deep down, that this journey wasn’t just about exploration or mastering his newfound power. It was an escape. Staying in the Fire Capital would have meant confronting the void Mikoto’s departure had left in his life. Leaving was easier, though he now understood the dangers of forming attachments too quickly. He had let her into his world, into his heart, and now he was left with the consequences. So, he did what he always did when life became too much—he threw himself into his work.

The isnd was perfect for his needs. It was lush with dense forests, high cliffs, and secluded beaches, a natural training ground that provided endless challenges. He set up a base within his magical trunk, which he had concealed in a small cave near the shoreline. Every minute of his waking hours was devoted to mastering the Rinnegan, a power unlike anything he had encountered before.

At first, the abilities of the Rinnegan were a mystery to him, but with time and focus, they began to reveal themselves.

  Deva Path:

The first ability he unlocked was the control of gravitational forces. With practice, he learned to repel and attract objects with precision, from hurling massive boulders to pulling objects from miles away. He marveled at the raw destructive potential of the ability, but also its versatility—it was a tool for both combat and utility.

  Asura Path:

The next power manifested as a surprising ability to summon mechanical weapons and augment his body with advanced constructs. His hands could transform into cannons, bdes, or tools, each infused with a mix of chakra and his unique magic. The combination of his magical knowledge and this newfound skill opened new avenues for experimentation.

  Human Path:

When he discovered the ability to extract the souls of others, he was both fascinated and unsettled. This power allowed him to delve directly into a person’s memories and knowledge, far beyond what his Legilimency could achieve. It was a dangerous skill, one he promised himself to use sparingly—if at all.

  Animal Path:

The isnd became poputed with creatures of his own making when he unlocked the ability to summon beasts. These summons were not ordinary animals; they were massive, otherworldly beings infused with his own magic, loyal only to him. He trained alongside them, testing their strength and coordination in battle.

  Preta Path:

This ability felt almost second nature to him, as it mirrored his magical practices. With it, he could absorb chakra from attacks, enemies, or even the environment itself. The power made him nearly untouchable in combat, allowing him to nullify most attacks with ease.

  Naraka Path:

This path resonated deeply with him as the Master of Death. He discovered the ability to summon the King of Hell, a powerful entity that could interrogate, judge, and even restore life. The implications of this power fascinated him, though he knew it was one that would demand caution and respect.

Outer Path (Creation of Life and Resurrection):

The final ability he unlocked was perhaps the most profound. The Rinnegan’s Outer Path granted him dominion over life and death on a scale he had never thought possible. He could create and control chakra constructs—entities imbued with life—and even bring back the dead, though at a significant cost to himself. This power aligned eerily with his title as the Master of Death, blurring the lines between his magical legacy and his new shinobi abilities.

Harry spent months, then years, mastering these abilities, pushing his limits with each passing day. The Rinnegan was not just a tool; it was a part of him, an extension of his will. The more he used it, the more it felt like it was unlocking something deeper within him—a power that tied him to the very fabric of life and death in this new world.

But even as he immersed himself in his training, the memories of Mikoto lingered. In quiet moments, he found himself wondering what she was doing, whether she was thinking of him, and what her life in Konoha was like. The thought frustrated him, distracting him from his work. He had left to move on, yet her presence remained a part of him.

“Damn it, Mikoto,” he muttered one evening as he sat on a cliff overlooking the sea, his gsses resting beside him, allowing his emerald Rinnegan to reflect the setting sun. “Why couldn’t you be just another passing memory?”

The sea breeze carried no answers, but Harry knew one thing for certain: he was no longer the man he had been when he first arrived in the Fire Capital. The Rinnegan had changed him, not just in power but in purpose. Whatever y ahead, he was ready to face it—though a part of him wondered if his path and Mikoto’s might cross again.

The waves gently pped against the wooden ship Harry had crafted using his mastery of Wood Release. The vessel was sturdy, elegant, and swift, gliding smoothly across the sea as he made his way back to the world he had temporarily left behind. With his Rinnegan now controlble, able to shift between its activated and normal states at will, he felt ready to re-enter society. His training on the isnd had prepared him, and he was eager to test his newfound strength and abilities in the real world.

The journey was peaceful at first. The sun shimmered on the ocean’s surface, and the rhythmic sound of the waves was almost meditative. But as dusk began to settle, a sense of unease crept over him. The water around his ship rippled unnaturally, and the air seemed to grow heavy. Harry’s instincts, honed by years of survival and training, kicked in. Something was approaching.

Then, with a deafening roar, a massive serpent burst from the ocean, its scales glinting like polished metal in the fading sunlight. The creature was enormous, its head towering above the ship as its body coiled around the water like a living tidal wave. Before Harry could react, the snake struck, its immense tail smashing into the ship and splintering it into pieces.

Harry leapt from the wreckage, nding gracefully on the water’s surface, his chakra keeping him steady. His emerald Rinnegan flickered momentarily before he calmed himself, reverting to his normal green eyes. The massive snake reared its head, hissing and preparing to strike again, its fangs glistening with venom. But before it could attack, Harry acted—not with a jutsu, but with a word.

“Stop!” he commanded in Parseltongue, his voice cutting through the chaos like a bde.

The snake froze mid-strike, its glowing yellow eyes narrowing as it tilted its head in confusion. Harry could see the recognition flicker in the creature’s gaze. Parseltongue, the nguage of serpents, was rare, and few humans could speak it. The snake hesitated, lowering its head slightly as it regarded him with curiosity rather than hostility.

“You can speak?” the snake hissed, its voice deep and resonant.

Harry nodded, his voice calm and steady as he replied in Parseltongue, “Yes, I can. Why have you attacked me?”

The snake’s coiled body shifted, creating ripples in the water as it seemed to ponder his words. “You are in my territory, human. Few venture here and live to tell the tale. But… you are different. Your voice carries the ancient tongue.”

“I mean no harm,” Harry said, his tone firm but respectful. “I am simply passing through, traveling to the nds beyond. I did not know this was your territory.”

The snake studied him for a long moment, its piercing eyes locked onto his. “You are bold, to stand before me and speak with such confidence. Many would tremble in fear.”

Harry smirked faintly, the confidence in his voice unwavering. “Fear serves no purpose when you have power and understanding. I respect your strength, but I ask for safe passage.”

The giant snake, intrigued by Harry's use of Parseltongue and his commanding presence, wasn’t content to simply grant him safe passage. As Harry made his request, the serpent lowered its head, staring at him with piercing yellow eyes.

“I will grant you safe passage,” the snake hissed, “but on one condition. You will come with me to Ryūchi Cave. The White Snake Sage will wish to meet a human who can speak our noble nguage.”

Harry hesitated for only a moment. The name Ryūchi Cave stirred vague memories from the minds he had read—an ancient, sacred pce associated with snakes and extraordinary power. The opportunity to learn more about such a pce and perhaps gain knowledge he had never encountered before was too valuable to pass up. He nodded.

“Very well,” Harry replied in Parseltongue. “I will come with you.”

The snake let out a low, satisfied hiss, coiling its massive body around Harry’s reconstructed ship before plunging into the water. Harry followed, using his chakra to walk on the surface as the snake led the way. The journey to Ryūchi Cave took several hours, and Harry couldn’t help but marvel at the creature’s graceful movements and the sheer majesty of the underwater ndscapes they passed along the way.

The entrance to Ryūchi Cave was hidden within a jagged cliffside, concealed by an intricate barrier of natural and chakra-based illusions. As Harry stepped inside, he was struck by the ethereal beauty of the cave. It was vast and otherworldly, filled with glowing moss, towering stone pilrs, and pools of shimmering water. The air was thick with a strange, potent energy that seemed to hum against his skin.

At the heart of the cave, on a raised dais surrounded by coiled snakes of varying sizes, sat the White Snake Sage—a massive, ancient serpent with scales that shimmered like pearls. Its milky eyes regarded Harry with a mixture of curiosity and wisdom.

“So,” the White Snake Sage hissed, its voice deep and resonant, “this is the human who speaks our nguage. You are… unique.”

Harry inclined his head respectfully. “Thank you for seeing me, White Snake Sage. I am honored to be here.”

The Sage’s gaze lingered on him, as though peering into his very soul. “You are no ordinary human. Your aura carries the weight of power and something… otherworldly. Tell me, what do you seek?”

Harry didn’t hesitate. “Knowledge. Strength. The means to grow beyond my limits.”

The White Snake Sage let out a low hiss, amused by his directness. “You are bold, but I see potential in you. If you wish to walk the path of the snake, you may sign our summoning contract. In return, we will teach you our arts. But know this—our path is not for the weak of will.”

Harry stepped forward without hesitation, accepting the scroll presented to him by one of the coiled serpents. With a small cut to his finger, he signed his name in blood, sealing the pact. The Sage nodded approvingly.

“Very well,” it said. “From this moment, you are one of us. We will teach you the art of summoning, the techniques of the snake summoners, and, if you prove yourself worthy, the secrets of Sage Mode.”

Harry’s training at Ryūchi Cave was unlike anything he had experienced before. The snakes were relentless teachers, pushing him to his limits and beyond. They taught him the fundamentals of summoning, allowing him to call forth snakes of varying sizes and abilities. He practiced with them in simuted combat, learning how to coordinate his movements with his summons to devastating effect.

The special jutsu of the snake summoners were equally challenging. Harry mastered techniques that allowed him to meld into the ground like a serpent, extend his reach with chakra-infused strikes, and even manipute his body to evade attacks in ways that defied human anatomy.

The pinnacle of his training was Sage Mode. The process was grueling, requiring him to absorb and bance the natural energy of the cave with his own chakra. The first few attempts left him nearly immobilized, the energy overwhelming him like a tidal wave. But with persistence, guidance from the White Snake Sage, and the use of Shadow Clones and Runes for additional training, Harry began to master the technique.

In Sage Mode, his senses became razor-sharp, his physical strength and speed increased dramatically, and his chakra reserves surged to new heights. His body seemed to merge with the natural energy around him, making him a force of nature in both combat and strategy.

Years passed, and Harry emerged from Ryūchi Cave a changed man. His mastery of Snake Sage Mode, coupled with his Rinnegan, Wood Release, other Bloodlines and magical abilities, made him a formidable figure—perhaps one of the most powerful beings in the Elemental Nations.

As he stood at the entrance of the cave, ready to continue his journey, the White Snake Sage addressed him one final time.

“You have done well, Harry,” it said. “You have the cunning of a serpent and the strength of a predator. Remember the lessons you have learned here, for they will serve you well. But tread carefully—power such as yours attracts both allies and enemies.”

Harry bowed deeply. “Thank you for your guidance, Sage. I will not forget what I have learned here.”

With that, he stepped into the light, his journey resuming with a renewed sense of purpose and a determination to test the limits of his newfound power.
