We are about to head to the nation of monsters once again.

  We woke up early today to prepare for our trip. I packed up food and spare clothes to have with us on the road. After we were done packing we went directly to the carpenter, he was there waiting for us to come.

  “Well, you 2 are here. What route are we taking?”- Ayame gave us a map of where we have to go to reach the center of Nation of Monsters where we need to build the houses, we will follow the same route we followed to the vilge that falls under the Nation of Monsters jurisdiction.

  “Well, you should just follow us, the route that we are taking is a little bit special, with us there it shouldn’t be a problem tho”- The carpenter made a long face, he looked at us like we were liars.

  “How should I know you guys are telling the truth? Where are we going so far away?”- He replied in a demanding tone.

  “We will tell you on the road. We can’t tell you anything inside this city”

  The carpenter followed us reluctantly. After a short while we arrived in the forest.

  “Well, it’s time to tell you where you are going to work.”- We made sure we had gone a good distance away from Welcia, we walked about ? of the to the Beast-Folk vilge.

  “It’s about time. As long as I am safe and getting paid I don’t mind where I work”- He scuffed and looked away.

  “Well, what opinion do you have about monsters, you know like goblins and such, I am referring to the sentient kind that can speak and talk like humans do”- He looked at us surprised for a second.

  “Well, I am neutral towards them. If I gotta work there so be it, if the pay is still the same of course. I don’t care with who I work or for who I build, I only care about the money. I have a family you know”- He spoke in a soft and gentle tone of voice. Wow, what a shift in personality.

  “Well, exactly that. You will have to work for a monster nation and build houses there, also you will need to teach them how to build them, your pay is here”- I showed him the sack with his pay 20 ptinum coins, and more were added to the previous pay because of the information that he will share with the monsters when they build the houses.

  “Well, no problem, this will be an easy job. But how do we handle food? Do monsters know how to cook?”- We picked up the pace, the man seem to be excited about this job.

  “We will be dealing with the food. The 2 of us know how to cook and we will be the ones supplying food to you and the workers”- The man looked a little bit confused but nodded in agreement with us.

  “I got to ask something out of you two. Why are you helping a monster nation, why is Lord Fumiko helping them? I don’t want to pry too much but I am curious”- The carpenter picked up the pace and began to walk beside us.

  “Well, we got permission from her, she wants to prove to people that not all monsters are evil and that they can be civil. We are also working with other people, but you already know too much. If you want you can stay in the monster nation. There will be easier for you unless humans attack”- I said the st part with a sarcastic voice.

  “I do agree with Miss Fumiko. To tell you the truth there are many people here who have monster retives or are ancestors of monsters but the bloodline got washed up with human blood making them have both human and monster characteristics”- Sounds interesting.

  “It does sound interesting, can you tell me more about those humans?”- Without knowing my tone of voice shifted from depressed and monotone to curious and lively.

  “For example, those humans can tolerate high amounts of mana and some of them are immune to mana poisoning. Some of them are born with intrinsic skills that monsters possess or a skill that is only avaible to a certain species or race of monsters. My daughter is one of those people”- Interesting, he has a daughter who is like that

  “Well, do you know anything about Hikaru Tanaka and Hana Tomura, the 2 rejected monsters from the pace?”- The man looked at us wide-eyed

  “Yes, what is it with them?”- He began looking around left and right, with frantic body motions indicating that he is scared.
